The damn situation knocked on my door too. Recently, when I came home from work and parked my car, I noticed that my headlights lit up brighter as soon as I pressed the gas. So the battery alone doesn't give enough sparkle. I have to give gas for it to burn at full power. And that's causing the charging dynamo to overload the battery. I just changed the battery last year. I don't do long trips. I guess that's why the voltage drops. It's a bad situation.Morning all -- 0 degrees F out and , of course , my battery is dead. Hoping it will take a good enough charge to get to the auto parts store for a replacement. I know it was getting weak but as usual I put it off. arrrrghhhhhhh I will be back - hopefully.
