Does step-"incest" kills the fetish for you?

I don't know of a single nation where marrying or having sex with a step relative is objectionable either culturally or legally.

It's illegal in Canada.

> 2 (1) Subject to subsection (2), persons related by consanguinity (blood), affinity (marriage) or adoption are not prohibited from marrying each other by reason only of their relationship.

> 2 (2) No person shall marry another person if they are related lineally, or as brother or sister or half-brother or half-sister, including by adoption.

So a step-relationship isn't a bad thing UNLESS it's between a step-(grand)parent with a step-(grand)child or between step-siblings.

This also means that full incest between cousins, Aunt/Nephew, and Uncle/Niece is also completely legal.

It's better for me, I have a lot of siblings and I've always found it a bit weird.
If the option is available I'll even switch the mom or stepmom to an adopted parent.
I really like the step-dughter fetish though

yes because what is even the point in having incest at that point. the whole taboo of incest is the relation the two people have together.

That's half-siblings though, not step-siblings. The former are blood related, the latter aren't. Unless it's interpreted to include step-siblings?
Peculiarities of my language, we have these concepts as synonyms. Here is an article from a dictionary (machine translated):

“The only difference is that if there are different fathers, but one mother - it is a single half-brothers and sisters, and If one father and different mothers, it is a single half-brothers and half-sisters. Different moms, for example, but the same dad. Children from different fathers are also half-siblings. They say that they are siblings, but specify which of the parents is their mother or father (siblings by mother, siblings by father), but in principle they can also be called half-brothers (if desired).

I think step is sometimes better somehow
but most creators just dont write it that way, they just treat the same and add a step to it

So for me, it makes no sense, as much as I really like is, I really dislike when they get a game that is clearly not incest, and make a mod for it adding especially when it's mother-son/father-daughter, you can tell how shit the conversations gets

The step crap is worse in my opinion not only because there are people that act as if a step anything is the same as someone related by blood (even talking with disgust to a relationship), but also because they lose most of the point of incest, especially when the steps-"insert relationship here" have known each other for a very small amount of time which is how it is most of the time (and my biggest problem with it), If at least they made something like parents marrying when the kids where 1, and they grew up doggeder, or the mother/father got married when the kid is a baby you can even make an argument, but noooooooooooo
I highly agree with your point of view here it's crazy how some people have a view point that as if people are rubbing two nuts together to harness eletricity.

That just says marrying, not fucking.

....

Really? Would it surprise you to learn that married people are 100% expected to have sex? In fact consummating the marriage is the final step and failure to do so can result in an annulment?

Gotcha.

So what do you call people who aren't related but their parents married each other?

Yeah, I would much prefer it without. It doesn't kill it for me, but I will say it doesn't keep my interest as well.

Ehhhh its not really a turn off but it is very weird. Out of place even. But its not a deal breaker its just a "damn they have that. I dont really like that but the rest of the game is good so idc"

It's mostly the language of it that bothers me. I grew up in a big family with four 'step-siblings' and at not one point in our entire lives did we refer to each other as 'step-sis' or 'step-bro.' We were just brothers and sisters. Characters explicitly (and often constantly) applying that prefix make the dialogue feel unnatural to me.

If the characters are older and didn't grow up together it feels less forced but only if the writing is sufficiently subtle about it.

A clandestine meeting of brother and sister. Their love was forbidden, but tonight, they didn't care. They needed each other.
"But step-bro, we can't! It's wrong!" she protested, as he moved in to kiss her.
"Come on, step-sis. It's not as if we're related by blood or anything," he brushed her hair out of her eyes. "my father left my mother to be with your mother, and because of this very specific, albeit minor abstraction, it is now morally acceptable for us to process payments on your subscription-based platform- I mean, for us to be together."

I understand that most developers do this to allow their game to be sold on steam but I don't know why the dev themself doesn't make a patch or allow for you to name the relationship in those situations. It feels very odd and for a niche and taboo concept like porn games I'm surprised that it exists.
