Hmm If he be nordic -- just means exactly that son of Tear, Their predominant type of surname is patronymic. These surnames are based on the father's given name and changed with each generation. For example, Lars Pettersson was the son of Petter. If Lars had a son named Hans, the son would be known as Hans Larsson (son of Lars) I have no idea what they do with daughters -- And I imagine that it makes tracing your family tree problematic. xD nah these days to make it easier we stopped with naming after father yet kept the old father name so we got alot of carlssons, erikssons etc even though there may have been generations upon generations those names were used in those families

Hey don't worry about it I'd be glad to give a brief explanation. [EMTL] stands for edited machine translations and it is done in a particular process.

For example i will run a game through a translation tool but unfortunately some of the translation might not provide the correct translation, subject matter and context so I would need to correct any errors that have occurred. It should be noted that what I am doing isn't a proper translation (As I don't know languages other than English) so i can't describe it as such but it should make a translated game more readable and less frustrating to go through.

Thanks, appreciate the explanation. I was actually in the process of doing the same (for myself) using some LLM's I am testing, against some of the more engrish games I like.
Translations and grammar corrections are always appreciated, especially on good games or concepts where the creator might not have english as first language. Good luck and glad you will be contributing!
