"We worked on a file save transfer system, but since we didn't have it implemented into the game system at the end of v.7, there is an extra step to transfer them.
To transfer your variables, copy what is inside the 'game' folder of the Transfer File and put it into V0.7 '\game' folder. Load a save in v0.7 and complete the game(play from where you saved to the end of the game). It'll ask if you want to save and let you name it. Do so, and when you load up version 8 and start a new game it will let you load in the file data.
Anyone who doesn't want to do that can just do the questionnaire at the start of Chapter 3 (V.8)."

Well, in another thread the Dev gave the answer:

The order is BHH, which is trash. it was my first game, but there is a remake of it coming. I'd wait for that. But it's BHH TG, PA which is still ongoing, SWP, and then RWP. TLG is TG part 2 which takes place 15 years after TG. And DD is a side project. But still set within the BHU, as I call it.

Basically you can play them in any order except for The Last Guardian and Revelations of the Whispering Pines which are sequels of other games.
The best ones IMO are The Guardian and Personal Assistant.
The rest are either too dark or too messy or rather both.
The thing is, as I understand it, Seath has no clear idea where the plot going and he writes a few games at the same time, so all the overlapping of the different games happens on the go and there is no particular order to play them.
Historically, BHH is the earliest one and the RWP is the most recent. The rest fall in-between.

IIRC the items that had scenes in 0.7 were the pc, vibrator, camera and lotion.
Also seath posted on discord that the update will be released today for testers and tomorrow it should start being released for subs.

IOError: Couldn't find file 'gui/phonestuff/weather/nothing.webp'.

I can add the whole traceback if needed

Not really sure how you managed that but here is a replacement for the gui rpa so you don't have to redownload the entire thing.
