I can barely wait for the walkthrough mods to be updated. (3 days for public access according to Shawn, as I recall.)

Definitely one of the better games.

Somewhat hilarious that the Steam version will have even less clothing than the old version. (Clearly, uniforms are the one sign of how old you are…)

Overview:
You are transferred to a new school which is also where your childhood friend is currently studying. Its an all-female school but you somehow end up there due to registry error or is it not a coincidence? The school facilities is great which has high reputation and prestige. However there is a catch. Government often send projects to the school and the recent project requires the students to be nudist. This is a really good take on a sort of cliche set up. The models are very good looking and, but the underlying story can be hard to follow and the coding errors make playing this a labour of love.

I don't know why I love this game so much. The overall plot that we get hints for (blatant conspiracy to turn the adult girls of a girls' school into a bunch of sex-positive exhibitionists?) makes no sense and barely keeps the various scenes together. The models all look a bit uncanny. The way the girls' characters are drawn is very unsubtle. Every detail feels rough and imperfect.
And yet the entire thing just works as a wonderful, perfect piece of porn art.

Maybe it's the female touch of Elsa, the developer? I wonder if there are any other heterosexually oriented AVNs made by women.

Version 0.19 has just come out, but compared to 0.18 it has no new content, or barely any. The new version is primarily about making this game acceptable for Steam:

• Renamed from "Nudist School" to "Nudist College". As a side effect, the old saves are no longer found. There are mixed reports as to whether saves work after moving them manually, so presumably most do. (*)
• All traces of school uniforms were removed. I think the images were all re-rendered either with casual clothes or naked. (Although I am not into young girls, I kind of liked the school uniforms. I guess it should be easy to make a mod that restores them to new versions of the game.)

for instructions to transfer save files on Windows. On Linux it should be the same except the save files are in a different location, such as ~/.renpy/NudistSchool-... . Or on all operating systems (except Android?) you can just copy your old save files from the games/save subfolder of your old installation if you still have it. (Ren'Py duplicates save files in two locations: One so they survive deleting and reinstalling the game, and another so they survive moving the installation to a different computer.)

I never even considered how many arbitrary additional requirements there must be to make a game acceptable for steam. It's gotta be super hard to make work.

All of this has been discussed before. The game's name had to be changed because of Steam rules. This made Ren'Py automatically change the name of the hidden folder where it stores save files so they survive uninstalling/reinstalling the game. This is the problem. You should be able to just move the save files from the old location to the new one if you can figure out where that is for your operating system.
However, to support installations on removable drives, Ren'Py actually stores every save file twice. The other location is in the game folder, subfolder game/saves. Moving or copying the saves from your old installation to the new one should also work and is simpler -- provided you still have the old game installation with which you played previously.
Most people who tried one of these two methods seem to be reporting success; a few have failed. I don't know if they misunderstood the instructions or there is an actual problem in some cases.

Thanks for the info. On my Win11 machine, the save files are in root>users>appdata>roaming>renpy . I assume that for others running the same - or similar - OS, they will need to enable "show hidden files" in their file-viewing attributes, otherwise appdata won't be visible. It didn't occur to me that Ren'Py makes copies of the save files in the game folder itself; my bad for not even looking
