Discord links from SS are all currently blocked. Never used Discord for this game before because there was no need. If I can't figure this out before my next billing cycle on SS, I will have no choice but to cancel my sub.
Yeah I figure this will make devs on SS lose prob half their subs, probably more than SS simply telling all creators and subs: "we're converting to crypto, learn to use that or you're out of luck." And Discord itself is also an issue, many loli fans that live in countries where those are illegal simply don't trust an anti-loli site like Discord. It's like I said on the TLG thread, I see no near-future issue with every loli dev migrating to an anti-loli site, none at all /s. If nothing else just open a crypto wallet and put the link to that in the OP here. When the dust settles that would probably be where most of the money would be coming from anyway.

Does that mean, that those of us who don't have an SS account, and Discord link, have to wait a long time for the next update?

What a laziness.

Shit happens sometimes. As a sub like others I will just have to go to his private Discord to download it. Nothing else changes, other than the links found on SS will be to a censored version (that I can't even imagine, the story would not make sense at all with most of it missing, it's not just lolis and incest added as an afterthought like usual, that's the whole plot). As far as free versions it will still have a public version v12r after the other paths are added in a few months (this upcoming update is still the 2nd half of the Harem path), they will just have to go to Discord to grab it before putting it here, assuming it's not banned from Discord again too by then (which would not surprise me).

Is there a reason certain characters don't show in the book/character stat area? For example, Lisa and Alyssa don't show there. Even if we aren't meant to manipulate their stats, once enough characters are introduced, it's really helpful to have the full roster to keep it all straight.

SS has been fucking everyone for the past 24 hours. The Narrator got banned entirely, everyone else they get a "this page has been removed" landing page if they are not already subbed and logged in so hidden from any new potential subs. It all happens to be loli and/or incest devs so in all likelihood it's Visa/MC finally fucking with them like they have with Patreon for the past 7 years. Making the devs' pages look like they've been removed to any non-sub that clicks the links was a stop-gap measure/damage control to fool Visa/MC, I'd almost bet all of this year's income on that. SS most likely won't be telling anyone shit, they are really good at ignoring anyone that emails them and if they had a phone they'd probably just let it ring after putting it on silent. I'll honestly will be very surprised if they reply to anyone at all, even if it's with a lie. I just checked subscribestar.adult while not logged in with some random searches, seems all boring AVNs that don't have lolis or incest are still fine, otherwise they don't show up in search either (as I expected they wouldn't).
This is right. The payment processors, call the shots on sites like SubscribeStar. If complaints are received, SubscribeStar will need to act. If they lose the credit card companies, their business gets wrecked. The site started blocking loli creators a year or two back. They stopped verifying new accounts of creators. And weren't honest about it. Saying they were overstretched. But meanwhile non-loli creators were getting verified. Now it seems they are willing to put pressure on the older accounts. That's the way it goes. First a new platform, accepts edgy content. Then platform grows and starts cracking down on previously accepted content.

Payment processors outside of the fraught American cultural sphere would be a possible out. Paypal and Visa and co, are too agenda driven.

It's why they are nameable. And before they were I just had a text file to keep track of saves with a description for each for every AVN I keep up with (probably thousands of saves across dozens of AVNs). Only thing that annoys me is say you have 100 pages of saves but the one you are looking for is on page 50, by default Renpy won't let you simply type in 50 in a box to get there, you have to flip through pages 10-49 first. I did request a save menu tweak that had pages of 16 saves (4 x 4 grid) which would be perfect for having 4 paths (harem, Alice, Macy, lolis), each path having it's own row, along with that page-jump option. That still hasn't happened so it's prob not high priority.
yall are way more dedicated to the fap than I.

The way I would have done it is started the process of switching to crypto when the problems first started 2 years ago, rather than being a liar and bullshitting everyone until the last minute when the lies were obvious to even a retard (which should be illegal, it is if a CEO does it on Wall street). Something like: "Due to Visa/Mastercard's stupid demands were are swiching to crypto payments rather than make ourselves just another Patreon clone. Those of you that want to send and receive payments can do so after converting your chosen cryptocurrency to USDC or Matic (non volatile, pegged to the US $) and sending them to your chosen devs with a 4% markup for our fees. Creators will still get paid in USDC which they can convert to whatever fiat currency they use at the crypto exchanges linked to their bank accounts, just send us your wallet details." Sure, they'd probably lose half or even 80% of their business in the short term and probably need to lay off most everybody except management or maybe even just the owner, but as it is now they are no better than Patreon. In fact worse, they are proven liars, have 1/4 the traffic and reach Patreon does, almost non existent customer service until it's about to blow up all at once in their own faces, and devs now have to do the same shit on SS as they would on Patreon so they don't even need to exist at all anymore, their anti-censorship sales pitch was their main advantage over Patreon but is a crock of crap.

I think you're overestimating how many people know how to use crypto and can be bothered dealing with it.
I'm a web dev and a while ago a customer asked me to implement crypto payments in their e-commerce: out of a few thousands transactions in the next 6 months i think they got like 2 crypto transactions.
Plus there are already crypto only patreon clones, nobody uses them because crypto.
Sure it's annoying that they've had to remove the download links from their SS pages but it's still miles ahead of patreon, they can still get paid, their page is visible, they don't have to send download links to some moderator and wait for days so that they can play it and flag all the things they want removed etc...

Most are investors, true, but when one's livlihood is under threat I bet the ones not willing to put up with using it as actual currency would change their minds real quick when there's no alternatives. C P producers have been using crypto for 15 years without Visa/MC at all, as the alternative before that was/is cash in the mail with an access code/password, which is even slower to deal with. If you want C P then that's your options without resorting to filming it yourself and assuming the increased risk that goes with that. And look what people do, they happily pay in crypto most of the time, rather than as some might think with it all going out of business. Even F95 now has a wallet for every major crypto, they can't continue to exist without it, as this site is like $300 a month, they are probably more like $3000/mo, no one that's not a billionaire is going pay that out of their own pockets for long and being a porn site they lost Paypal access long ago, with Visa/MC probably not too far behind them when they also decide to simply ban all porn. When tossed in the deep end and left to learn to swim or drown, most will learn to doggy paddle at least in under 15 seconds, I did. And I suspect most on SS would take the crypto option as well since the reason they used SS in the first place was because they hated Patreon more than having less money. Right now I'm keeping my eyes peeled, any dev that has a crypto option I will 100% just use that and cancel my SS sub (which I'm half-temped to do anyway at the moment, for the same main reason I don't use Patreon at all anymore, I don't like funding censorship).

Regarding crypto: I have made a poll about it and the numbers were not looking good at all.

Bitcoin and adult game monetization

So the results so far:

- 22 against bitcoin in general
- 12 either in favor or still in some kind of doubt
- 2 in favor of bitcoin in general but against it for adult game monetization

Although the sample size is fairly small, I am still a bit surprised about the high percentage that rejects bitcoin outright, and, interestingly, often for moral reasons.

The problem with certain content is, that it is becoming harder and harder to monetize it. But apparently the alternative to credit cards and payment processors isn't perceived as good enough at the moment. Which makes me somewhat sad, actually.

I need his discord.
Bay the way, how to extend subscribe??
Link to his discord in the op. If you're already a subscriber just tell him and he will change your status on the discord. If you want to move to another stage of support, you can do so on the discord too.

SS's bullshit probably delayed it a bit, but the pre-Alpha is already out (a debug version for testers on the $50-100 tiers). If I'm not mistaken public releases don't happen until all 4 paths are done, and this upcoming one is just the 2nd half of V12 Harem.

What happened to ketzal!!? Did he leave LC!?
