Wrote this on your subscribestar but Backby isn't working for me, tried to buy some crypto to pay your tier with and when I use my email and enter the verification code I get a "We could not secure your device for the current domain. Please make sure that you are on the correct domain to mitigate phishing attacks." and I can't do anything else unfortunately. Any chance you can contact them for a solution? I upped my tier list on SS for the time being, hope it helps.

For now I've upped the tiers on subscribestar but I recommend maybe setting up a buymeacoffee or boosty account like the Narrator has and try to migrate support over there if possible.

Have you tried contacting SS? It seems like they are trying to work with devs to find solutions. For example Ketzal the dev of SSP will put all the petite content in a patch that you have to download outside of SS and he only post the censored version on SS.

Well I've seen some people talking about using unifans.io as alternative to SS. They seem to be ok with that type of content. It's something that is probably worth exploring.

So that's interesting: "We encourage labeling characters to clarify they are not minors" (emphasis added). It's not required, apparently, but it might still be safest to do loli / shota content as patches. Then payment processors shouldn't actually be able to complain. Strictly speaking, the content on UniFans would be sans underaged stuff; patches would technically be free, even if in reality it's what a lot of the supporters are actually subscribing for. But it seems like it might be the best workaround to avoid getting into hot water while still telling your stories. Of course, that wouldn't be unique to UniFans and should work on Boosty, SubStar, and similar...

...with the exception being Patreon. They actually look at other places to see if content they don't like is being done anyway. Technically, I think that should be illegal (meaning unenforceable): they only have rights to control their own platform legally. They actually shouldn't be allowed to dictate based on what people do elsewhere. There's this puritanical faction of folks (not speaking politically) who get it in their heads that they should be able to control all aspects of life for anyone even associated with them. That's not actually how freedom is supposed to work in any place claiming to embrace it.

That's what I thought too and even asked him. He said he's not censoring his AVN. If he won't do it for F95 he prob won't for SS either.

I can't imagine SSP having all the smalls in the patch. The patch will be lager that the game in this case And what will be left from the plot?

The bugfix patch Mega link in the OP doesn't work. Mega just says "temporary error".

Nevermind. It actually was a temporary error. After reloading Mega for the third time, the error disappeared.

That was already the case way back in v4 when it was last on F95. The patch was 50% bigger than the censored AVN. Now it would be almost nothing in comparison and prob not make much sense with that much of it missing, at least not without 2 completely different versions of the script.

Patched games need to be built around the patches to make sense. For example, Maou-Sama has plot lines and choices that only exist when patched. For games like this one and SSP, the only answer is black screens in the main release that get overwritten by a patch. It would be way too much work to be creating a clean story and the patch story. The issue seems to be the images, not the words, so if a dev makes a story that has blacked out screens, and a patch just happens to appear by magic that fills in the images in those scenes, and that patch isn't linked on SS, then SS appears happy for now.

yeah SSP isn't meant to be patched, it's why Ketzal quit censoring it and just quit putting it on F95.

Discord Update

Moony — Today at 1:54 AM​

After holidays progress update,...

Now that we are done with those pesky holidays, we're back to regular updates.
This one here will be a short one, just to let you know I didn't forget about you guys

During the holidays I didn't get any work done due to well... family and all the activities that come with it.

But the writing has progressed nicely!
We're looking at ~ 10k words already.
Although you need to take into account that the choices from last update will be in effect!
Did you want see more of Lily and Cass or the twins with Alex? Now is the time to decide for either one.

Renders are at 148 atm and if I were to give an estimate of how many renders we're looking at by the end of the update, then I'd say ~ 350. I know I've produced around 200 in 2 weeks in the past, but hold your horses with the expectations... I'll do my best to have a January update coming but as usual, I don't want to promise a release date if I can't make it.

Once I am more confident about such talks, I'll let ya'll know!
