I can't do more than a few pages without getting distracted. Having novel chapters being read with TTS helps but sometimes I just end up missing what the chapter said and what I was reading...

I get distracted a lot! But it's good because I get some breaks.

oh no, sorry, that whole thing was tongue in cheek, a joke. Yes, I often miss the PW, but it's right there, like 5th tab down under all the other "need to knows" I miss them often because so many games don't require one at all? So it's the inconsistency that makes me lazy. The point is that I come here thinking a quick in and out, but then end up spending an hour doing random shit and probably downloading more games I forgot to get the PW for. If I ever gain P4 it will be due to absentmindedness.

LMAO the bosses are trying to get this order out and have someone deliver it since it's a local customer. Problem is they ordered the wrong crate for it. So it can't go on the flatbed to leave because it would be to tall to go out the door. which also might be to tall to drive down the roads for overpasses

Either they're idiots or geniuses... can't tell which.

I see they're hazing the new mod, @Slumdum, giving you the duty on the holiday (well, day before when half the US seems to be traveling ). Or not.

Hey, all. I caught up again. Given the reaction timer, I’m probably not as noticeable as the professional backreaders. (And thanks be unto them, for they provide many Coins to weary miners.)

Pilgrims are tough - not a lot about them I find of value

I had some trouble with that as well for the daily Mime tribute. Instead of the classic black-clothed pilgrims, I quickly sled into a general "settler" aesthetic. Wooden wagon, old pots, rough linen clothes, etc. Not quite what I’d call pilgrim-core, but my only alternative idea was going for non-American monks and nuns on pilgrimage.

I'm aware of what it is intended to be. I read the description. But it also does leave the plebes with a sense that all that effort to attain P4 is still not the top of the mountain, and unlike all the previous requirements one has to meet to get you to that place, you then find a locked door that, for most P4 club members, won't be opened. I'm not sure how I feel about this, because in addition to "playing the game" now one must schmooze and kiss ass. Of course I'll just keep doing what I've been doing, and not worry about it, but it's an interesting, if not predictable, development.

Is FOMO really such a big issue there? Besides, once you are at P4, you could just delay the purchase for a while. It takes something like ~35 days of bank interest to double your money. Add all the coins you get through other means, and a single extra month should have you well on the way to buy both if it’s so important to you.
