The premise seems good, but the few I've tried are just too slow. Reading is so much faster.

Plus I can make the voices much better in my head, especially if Ai is used which doesn't capture natural inflection and expression and cadence.

Any part of a game touched by Ai is terrible and voice acting is no exception. In regards to actual VAs, I almost always value the attempt highly and I think that they add more than they take. It's honestly the biggest draw for most japanese games.

Hell no. It slows my reading down. Now moaning during sex scenes is a simple thing that would add greatly to a game but is lacking in almost all of them

Not usually. It's often too loud. If it's not actually people it sounds fake. If it's just for sex sounds, it's even worse.

In most cases, "less is more" holds true in voice acting for me.

I like hearing a few (parts of) lines, as long as the voice acting is good. It adds a voice to characters and increases immersion. Any more than that, I either tend to skip it (because I’m reading much faster than the line is read), or I’m actively being turned off by it (artifical moaning ( ͡ಠ ʖ̯ ͡ಠ)╭∩╮).

NOOOOO! I have much hate for this thing. It is loud (yes, I know there's a volume control), unrealistic, and I have never heard one where the voice is not either terrible voice acting or terrible AI.

Yeah I agree with that less is more when it comes to voice acting. Keeping the immersion is good but I don't want overacting and needless exposition

no, especially since a way of saying in one language can vary in another. Or it can distort the idea of what you are doing with the scene in the game in question

If its good i would like it. I recently played a game with AI voice and i had to turn it off because it was just flat and emotionless.
But im looking forward to seeing more games with better AI Voice models in them as it add to the game

I prefer good sound effects (throughout the game, not just sexual ones).. I feel the voice act normally very overacted, it's very noticeable and I end up turning off the voices. Also, I prefer to imagine the voice/intonation of the characters myself.

If the sound was recorder very well and sounded authentic, then yes. Currently I haven't found any games with good sound effects unless someone can refer some good games.

The only time I like voice acting is when the game is played from the MC's perspective and I don't control the MC and I'm just along for the ride. Completely a story game. Otherwise sounds should be during sex scenes or not at all.
