Trying to play some games from the public category and commenting on their posts, but idk if that will get me much tbh. Game threads seem mostly dead.

Just work your way up to mem+ it doesn't take long. Most people take a day to a week to get there.

Took me less than a week (5 days, maybe? shrugs. I wasn't counting) posting mostly in this thread. You'll do good here. Go through the general discussion off topic as well and find something you are interested in and post. You might get some more there too. It's hit or miss.

P4 just means Prestige 4. You'll see us say P1, P2, P3 for the others.

Yes they do, usually once a month, wait to see big red letters announcing, but you'll probably have enough for member+ before it.

Yeah, they're roughly weekly sales. Not sure when next one is. The percentage for the sale is randomly selected, so you never know how much it'll be.

And keep in mind that the next sale might be less good, so if you see a good one, buy.

To me no journalistic standards also = no journalistic integrity. No matter what pollical side ya lean on there are those who work hard to provide solid journalism. If there too good some corporate group/family will try to kill it. I'll agree with you to check your sources and follow the money.
But don't say there is absolutely no journalistic standards in the US

I think it's fair to say no corporation has journalistic integrity in the US (or elsewhere in the world, but lets stay on topic). There are people with journalistic integrity, but they almost exclusively work alone. A rare few are attached to some sort of organization and are left alone. Sooner or later though, they will come out with an opinion that runs counter what the advertisers want and they will have the option to shut up or get gone.

This is the weakness of ad supported journalism. It will always serve the interest of the advertiser, not the consumer. It's better than state funded media, as Canada proves. Since then the media will always serve the interest of the state. The only time that the financial incentives and journalist integrity align is when the consumer of the news is the one funding it.

Journalistic standards are non existent because legally they only hurt you. If your journalistic standards are "I heard a rumor" then if you get sued for defamation you only have to prove that you heard a rumor and so followed the journalistic standards for your organization. If your standards are three credible sources (like it used to be) then if the plaintiff can prove you had two sources, you're boned. Since you didn't follow the organizations journalistic standards. An example of this is "the Maddow defense", where in court papers she claimed that nobody took her for a credible source of news and she only gives opinions. So, no standards = no defamation.

Yeah, this year half the holidays was wasted.
Even the saco cheio week didn't exist. It sucked.
But this month we also have a brand new holiday on the 20th!

Oscar prefers much more a war movie than a movie about the bad in military, so I hardly think the movie will advance for an Oscar. Would like a lot, Fernanda Montenegro deserves, but I don't think it will be the case.

I would also like to travel to Macau, imagine a place using Portuguese in China!

Being on work load too much these previous weeks, tomorrow will help to unload the stress, and Wednesday.
