It kind of depends on what you mean by boycott. Some of the examples already mentioned, customers were upset already about something and then a boycott started. It's tough to say whether it was the boycott or just people's natural opinions. Like I think there's a difference between something like Sonic where people were saying 'we don't like the product' and something like John Deere were people like the product, but don't like some company policy enough to make them reconsider buying.
