The mood bar is 9 centimeters long, listed below are how far up the bar each thing gets you.
Communication:

If you go exploring when her mood bar is full, she'll masturbate and empty it out.
If you want to impregnate her the first time through, you'll have to use a ton of saves. Exploring finds lots of unneeded items, so you'll want to save before you start searching, then load that save if you didn't find what you're looking for, and saving whenever you do find an item you want. This is how I was able to micro-manage a single play-through as efficiently as possible.
1st Day actions:
1 Communicate
2-5 Find 1 Flower, 1 Water, 1 Fish, 1 Firewood
6-7 Make Grilled Fish and Perfume
8-9 Gift them both
10 Take virginity
2nd Day actions:
1-7 Find at least 2 Water, 1 Powder, 1 Herb, 1 Honey, 1 Flower
8-9 Make Nutritional Drink and Perfume
10 Gift Nutritional Drink
3rd Day actions:
1-2 Communicate twice
3-7 Find 2 Flowers, 1 Herb, 1 Wood, 1 Water
8-9 Make Perfume and Essential Oils
10 Gift Essential Oils
4th Day actions:
1-6 Find at least 1 Water, 1 Powder, 1 Herb
7-8 Make Wine
9 Gift Perfume
10 Love her
5th Day actions:
1-2 Communicate twice
3 Gift Perfume
4-8 Love her
9 Gift Wine
If you don't successfully impregnate her on a first play through, but you can bring everything that wasn't used to a replay Game+. Unfortunately, the virginity scene is not available on replays. So if you want to just accumulate a bunch of ingredients, just skip through everything and explore with every action. About 2 times through got me enough odds and ends, with a 3rd time to make all the different recipes. Then, I was able to have sex 9 times in 5 days.
If you communicate all 5 times with her, you become her husband and get an extra scene of pregnancy sex at the end.
