If you can make Honey Select 2 or Koikatsu work in a good setting and with appealing characters, I dont see a reason why it can't work.
However my personal preference is on more modern Daz3D models.

Don't care. It's WAY too cartoony. Cartoon porn does nothing for me.

Everyone is talking about AI, in a negative or positive way. How technology will eventually allow for robotics to take over at home and work. This I believe is the least of our worries. On our current evolutionary path, I see too many dark and dystopian path. I see us as the robots forced into living a stricter and strictly monitored and policed society where freedom of liberty and general choice will slowly be hyper limited. We are already half way there. Just allow yourself to imagine a future, 300 years from now. That is if we make it that far is some way or another.
I know it's a somber thought but what else could it be. We might create a future where we willingly remove all the freedoms we currently take for granted today. The pressures we live in today are already undeniably impossible to sustain.

It really depends on the result, in both cases it can be very good or very bad.

HS one good thing is the animation when women come during sex. 2D is absolute shit, usually even worse than koikatsu. Then there are the truly horrible looking ones with like black eyes and not really human faces.

I love the women in HS but they seem to be all related to each other in most games. I open a HS game and I see the same people that I saw in the last HS game. It is hard to make a bad looking model in HS.

Daz3D has a much more varied look to it. You can make better looking people and more unique people in Daz3D, but you can also really create really weird faces and bodies too. The best and worst models are Daz3D. Some artists can't create good models and just use a few default setting so you recognize a model that was used in different game.

I prefer Daz3D when done right and actively seek out good games in Daz3D.

There are a few HS/HS2 games I really like, Eternum, Ripples, and Sinful Summer come to mind, but I definitely prefer Daz in general.

I give a fuck about the arts source, i just dont like asset recycling (=identical looking charas in multiple games). Its already annoying background recycling is a common practice and dozens of games have the same rooms, buildings, parks, ...

Sorry if i overwhelmed your knowledge, in every german chat/board its common to use the short term chara and i'm just used to it.
