I often like both, however what it mainly is for me is I can get bored of any 1 style of render or just artistic choice in general. I don't have a strong preference however I do find that daz3d has a much higher ceiling for quality than honey select, and lighting is often what ruins honey select renders. Also I tend to find that poorly done daz3d can look so bad that it stops being funny and just becomes downright gross especially in the face which I really care about in any game.

Usually I prefer DAZ becauseit CAN BE more diverse/expressive. However, for low effort games, HS is usually better.

I prefer Daz3D over Honey Select.

It all about the creator and the way ad style the scenes are created. some of my fond memories are of playing Honey Select games like Corruption, Dark Magic .. Dead moon survival

The main drawbacks of HS : 1. Limited facial expression options, 2. Some developers transfer characters created in HS to the European setting, which causes nothing but laughter, 3. Limited character customization options, 4. Standard set of gesticulation, which sometimes raises questions about the mental health of the characters, so ridiculous it often looks. I honestly tried to get through two games that have been in development for a very long time, Waifu Academy and Dark Magic. The graphics very quickly discouraged the slightest desire to follow the story.
So at this moment - only DAZ.

Daz3D for sure. The best ones are all Daz3D, like BB.

Daz if the developer is good, but mid HS is better than mid Daz in my experience.

I think they are different styles Honey Select seems to me to be a style that doesn't seek reality, more manga characters appear that I like but there's a lot of bad stuff in it, I can't deny it

Hard to answer simply. Depends on the artist.....
Bad HS2 is better than bad Daz, and also has the advantage that HS2 games tend to update much more frequently than Daz because it is easier to work in. On the other hand *good* Daz is much better than good HS2.
Another consideration is that there are more Daz assets out there, so you end up with better use of props, fewer recyled sets, etc.

Daz. HS looks like shit.

I perfer DAz3d over Honey Select. But I did like messing with Honey Select when I had it.

daz is just better

thing is, many devs are beyond lazy and use stock assets, don't even change the textures, which makes daz look bland and saturated

Daz is much better the character models are much better.

My main problem with HS is that it is no longer supported and is now obsolete because Illusion studios don't exist and the new company wont make any more loli games, so HS is something that has sadly dies away,. Daz is a great program and with the Iray rendering HS cant keep up, Daz is really a good program and i would use Daz over HS any day.

I don't mind playing games that use either one.

Daz3D. HS and HS2 don't suit me for a number of reasons. Standard faces, standard poses, standard facial expressions. And the apotheosis of it all is when such models appear in games with a European setting.

Daz3D on average tend to look better, but a lot of them end up with same-y looking characters. Honey select when done right though is amazing.

I don't know which games you have been playing that has better images than daz3d, I've not seen one.
Honey select lovers, recommend me your best?
