I was playing a couple of incest games the other day and I found myself thinking about how it's weird that most incest games have to be censored you have to either patch them or redefine the relationships when you start the game. Now obliviously I know that most crowdfunding platforms have standards and regulations the creators must abide by, but I think it's weird that they allow other games with taboos that are way worse than incest to be supported on their platforms. Gore, vore, violence, animals, furrys, scat, murder, monsters, drugging and r*ping but one mc wants to bang his mom and suddenly every one loses their minds. Now it may not be as simple as that and I apologize for ignorance, but it just sucks seeing games that I liked and supported have to be reworked, put on pause, or just abandoned because the crowding platforms think that's a step to far. Well either way I just wanted to get that off my chest and here's a few pictures of old incest games I liked.

I would say it's because incest is illegal in most places

I suspect that's where it began. If a payment provider wanted to provide services in that country, they have to follow their legislation and of course making it a global policy is much easier than managing edge cases here and there as they pop up.

The boring non-conspiracy reason is that incest is often linked to child abuse, as the abuser has power and privacy in their own home.

I do like blaming big money for everything as well though, it's much more fun to fantasize about these big dark offices where sinister old men cackle and rub their fingers relishing in their influence over the innocent masses, rather than the dark dreary reality that humanity sucks.

Incest in games is usually done with brilliant consensus and it establishes a love and connection between the characters unless you add in the rape tag of course. I like incest in games.

I do not know why incest in particular was the first to be banned, I assume it is as not to tempt the breaking of the societal biological taboo, but I am sure it is just the first in the chopping block. It's actually Patreon that is the reason you need the patches. Fuck 95 wouldn't allow it at all or link to the patches if it was loli content (though they're nowhere close to consistent with how they enforce that rule. Sometimes one mod/admin will allow and another will remove it - often RetardedKnutsack that removes it.)

More so in nature "incest" is way more widespread and basically uncontrolled, animals genuinely dont care with whom they breed as natural selection is based entirely on outside factors. More so, if we talk about selection "incest" aka breeding is the best way to keep desirable inheritable traits. People have strong feelings against incest for most simple and obvious reason - they are ignorant morons who have no idea what they talking about. Remember the games where you stole cars, kill cops and peasants and fuck whores? The parents went crazy about the sex in the game, everything else was fine.
