Did you ever rent anime from a video rental store before?

Yeah, I guess so. It wasn't common, but I do remember renting a Pokémon movie.
Usually anime were just TV. Few of them came to cinema back on the day, and even less to VHS/DVD. I still don't know why the Cowboy Bebop
movie had an official release here. Hahaha

Unfortunately not, here in Brazil was not common to rent anime. Maybe just São Paulo, because of the Japanese population.

I think the most famous ones, like Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Digimon (which the only movie here/on USA was actually a Frankenstein of multiple japanese ones) did go to rental stores. But I don't think I chose them very much.

I remember like 15 years ago or so. I worked this hybrid swing grave shift and I'd get home and on I'd watch lupin and I believe it was witchblade on CN at like 2 in the morning

I remember watching and sort of liking Witchblade back in the day, but also remembering that I wanted to rewrite that awkward and awful opening dialogue of hers. They must have had second and third tier writers for that series.

You should honestly try out the MLP Friendship is Magic, yes it's a kids show, but it's written really well and a ton of fun. I've watched the first two seasons awhile ago, and it's very wholesome and fun.

I only lost my grandparents and it was already a very shitty feeling, I can't even imagine what would be someone closer to me.
