I wish there were more games with multiple protagonists, cause I think NTR could really shine in a game like that. The problem often with NTR, where the narrator/'protagonist' gets cheated on, is that it just feels awful for the player (imo). I understand how NTR or cheating can be hot as a concept, and I think a multiple protagonist game could be a great way to do it. Now, the player doesn't feel overly connected to the cuckhold, and can take a step back and enjoy how hot the scene or cheating is. To answer your very complicated psychological question "Why NTR?" you'd probably need a certified psychologist but I can try to answer it. Keep in mind I am answering this question for myself not for the whole NTR community, everyone has their own reasons.
