99% of sequels are bad ideas, unless a story is written specifically for a double movie or trilogy

The problems with sequels, as somebody pointed, is that they ignore what happened in the first movie. When there is a character grow, they tend to ignore it.

What's odd is a sequel of a movie where the MCs were kids so much later that they are middle aged. It's hard to imagine what exactly they'd do with it.

Well, it is possible, as It is just like that. The same problem, but years late.

Yeah that's part of the issue. I have one hell of a headache right now. But unfortunately i'm the only shipper so I can't hand off things to others
It is, I've hardly done anything today. It's been the behind the scenes stuff. I have to get a shipment from a vendor in Germany to us here in the states. But UPS site was being stupid call support they said do this. Well that didn't work and I sure wasn't going to call them back. So after tinkering for over an hour finally got it to work. Then we sent something to a vendor in Vietnam and they are getting picky with how paperwork needs to be worded but wont give us an explanation. Plus it sounds like they all ready got the stuff so why does it matter what paperwork says for customs. The best part the guy I mentioned last week, since he's in Japan he is the main contact with them. So get emails from both demanding things.

You got to hang up one of these at work. I have not heard anyone say anything good about UPS in awhile now. Sorry your work has been so demanding. Paperwork is important especially for customs, but if they are complaining about it they really do need to say what they need from you guys.​

Some days ago I download a game which broke the saves, so I spent some time playing it again, but then gave up and searched for a save to download.

Caleb played poorly, for sure. But no stupid fumbles or interceptions are a plus.
I don't like the Bears, either, but their defense could be great. Special teams looked good, too. (makes me sad as a Packers fan)
I didn't watch Hard Knocks at all, and that's what people seem to be mad about him for.

To be fair the hype surrounding him is just way to much, the throws he missed during the titans game were throws he can make, I just chopped it up to rookie nervousness.

I don't agree that stories where the hero wins easily are appealing to kids, even young kids. I agree that many modern writers seem to think that though. Granted the extent of "punishment" heroes in really young kids' stories get is usually mild, like getting scared or exhausted, but they'll get bored too if the show is just the hero never encountering any hardship.

Take any (good) Disney movie as an example for older kids though. Snow White - she has to run away from home, live in the woods outside her comfort zone and eventually gets poisoned. Lion King - Simba's dad is murdered, he has to run away and grow up with strangers and no parents, and eventually returns to kill Claudius Scar. Kids don't remember these characters for always winning, they remember them for their heroic qualities being displayed in the face of adversity.

The traditional Hero's Journey! But, exactly, you had to have a conflict, otherwise, it's not appealing.

If you have a general memory of the first one, it's not necessary to see it again. They don't go into tiny details that you need to recall to enjoy it.

My guess is that you were depositing before checking for the button, which resets the timer and takes the button away.

There's a reason the Hero's Journey has been a staple structure since stories were recorded, in pretty much every culture. That's not to say it's the only way you can structure a good children's story, I just happened to pick examples of it. My main point is that even kids aren't entertained when the main character starts out as the most perfect and powerful person ever and never changes or has an arc.
