I have met some of my heros IRL being Toshimichi Mori(BlazBlue), Vic Mignogna(Full Metal Alchemist) and Johnny Yong Bosch(Power Ranger & alot of anime....). Even though one of theme could not speak English none of them were ass hats when I talk to them. The "Never meet your Heroes" saying is not always true.
Never meet your Heroes is an expression meaning you build an ideological version of them that turns out contrary to expectations. It doesn't mean they are all bad, just curb expectations, because your experience may shatter the preconceived image you created. I totally didn't mean any passive hate, just telling a story about pettiness him and me. Also, not really trying to devalue his contributions to the PR community, because he did have a huge following and was a part of it so long.

Hell, I still like Will Smith movies, even if I'm no longer a fan of him.

I met Vic a few times, even with his allegations, he was a pretty standup guy every time I met him. I met a lot of those early 2000's VA like Scott Menville, Tara Strong, Steve Blum, Richard Ian Cox, Kirby Morrow(R.I.P.). Even some legendary guys like Cam Clarke.

I'm on par on this thread! It just took 8 hours! kkkkkk

I love Firefly, I want to watch Natham Fillion new show, The Rookie (that has like, 6 seasons). The bad part it s a cop show.

Sorry I'm late, I hope the kissing is still on the table!

Well duh.....of course its my house spouse. I get ya though....the apocolypse transformed
my Slummy twice

Nice house spouse! Is she married?

Yeah, the official rules are such a party pooper. Only using black card when there's no other moviment possible are dumb, a lot of times (like when the next person has Uno) using it is the optimal and most funny play, even when you have more cards.
These online versions should have custom rulesets, because everytime I played were different rules.
All of them usually let you use special cards on top of +2 and +4, like the skip skipped your turn and made the next person buy the cards, and reverse made the previous person buy the cards (unless they also had special cards, so the combo would continue), but sometimes there were even more rules.
But one of the uncommon ones that I liked was this one:
If someone used a card that you had a identical one (same color and same number), you could play the card outside your turn, like skipping the line in a market or whatever, and then the game would go on with the player next from you. It had to be done quickly, before the "rightful" player to the turn to make their play, making the game more dynamic. 🤣
What, never before I heard that the black ones are only for no other moviment possible. And I just played with +2 on top of +2, and +4 on top of +4. That is why you need to define the rules beforehand. Too different!

Thank you very much, I will just open a new tab here to read!

Never meet your Heroes, because a lot of celebrities are douchebags.
Yeah, had this dissapointment recently. Let's just enjoy their work from afar.

Depending on your disposition it is quite easy to get past the copaganda and enjoy the drama/comedy and Nathan playing Nathan.

Sound like Vince McMahon, you can say he did some fuck up shit and it was not right though like JDF that don't take away how entertaining both were at what they did on TV.
You don't have to defend someone because you like their work, either
I still like the Remix to Ignition, but I'm NOT going to make excuses fucking R Kelly either

Never said I didn't like him, just preferred other characters over him. Never meet your Heroes, because a lot of celebrities are douchebags.
I saw Kevin Costner act like a spoiled crybaby asshole and scream at some people.
It absolutely changed my opinion of him, and his movies, too.

Let me rephrase : It's just basic care toward myself if I want to continue enjoying drugs from time to time and not ending up dying stupidly from an aneurysm on my keyboard

Love Nathan Fillian, Slither is also one of my favorite movies. It's a shame they axed Melissa O'Neil from Dark Matter and Nathan Fillians romance in the Rookie in the first season.

Harrison Ford is also dickish, still one of my favorite actors ever, though.

In my honest option Men in Black and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air were his best rolls on screen.

Well, I think I did pretty good on Brooklyn 99, so I will look at it and focus on Nathan.

Wow, now I'm in charge? OK, I didn't expected that

MiB 1&2 were peak Will Smith, for sure. Hell, I even liked Josh Brolin's portrayal of Tommy Lee Jones in part 3. Crazy he went from Brand in The Goonies to Cable and Thanos.

Haha, I remember watching that in Theaters as a kid, friggen amazing. Plus, it had an amazing cast, and then they decided to make a sequel...

I wasn't... Fortunately I've forgotten most of it.

On a sidenote, I really wish we had *insert quotes* function in post editing. Copy/Cut doesn't always grab the whole thing from the reply box.

That's amazing foresight. I didn't watch it in Theaters, I ended up buying it on Blu Ray, so I have added failure of owning it.
