Nichijou is my absolute favorite comedy anime, but I like them all.
Gintama is a shounen anime, but 75% of the episodes are nonsensical comedy. Then it switchs to a serious action/drama arca and it still rocks.
Prison School has a looot more on the manga, it isn't just an ending that eas left out, it's the majority of it.
Two comedy anime that I never watched but I've seen lots of praise are Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (which have nothing to do with Nichijou), and Grand Blue.

Do you mean the Legend of Korra? it's good, just not as good as Avatar. Toph is still fucking amazing though
I loved Aang, I disliked Korra.
The characters are awful, they appears to be from a fucking teen drama soap opera, and while the arcs and plot points aren't bad, I found it very convoluted. On Aang are 4 seasons (books) just to defeat the Fire Nation, on Korra every season is like two different world threatening villain.
And Toph creating
that world's military police I found very idiot, giving her character.
