One thing that bugs me that hasn't been mentioned here yet: When the developer has decided to disable the ren'py quick menu from the bottom of the screen. Sure, the default menu isn't pretty, but it's very practical and easily customized to fit any other UI elements.

I hate when honorifics like san get translated to something like "mr/ms" like bro just leave it as is all the translation does is remove the nuances of the original text like a character using dono instead of sama if you just translate them both to "lord/lady" it removes the difference. All it takes is 1 google search for someone to understand the meanings of the honorifics the only thing that translating them does is inconvenience people

Story twists that destroy what has been established or do not fit.
An example is the genetics BS that happened in A Moment of Bliss. We were dealing with AI tech based of a coma patient and then oh no lets toss in genetic engineering and make it so all the family LI's want MC cause they have no choice in the matter...
I'm still playing the trilogy, however I no longer have as much anticipation for the next part.

I also agree with many of the other things mentioned. Especially scroll back being disabled, some times I double tap a key by accident and now missed part of the story and have to figure out if what I missed is worth going back to a save or just skipping over.
Name Save is also something I think should be included but default is off. I don't use it but I can see it being useful.

A Petal Among Thorns took a really sharp turn in a direction that I wasn't expecting or hoping for. It was all sweetness and affection and then BAM handcuffs and blindfolds. I gave up on Lockheart after that. Sounds like I made the right choice.

Disabling Renpy rewind is enough to make me drop a game but a never-ending annoyance is games that force you to click through areas room by room to get to where you need to go. Why do I need to click an extra 12 times just to get to work to farm for cash because you're waiting for events to trigger? Just add a map button for the love of god.
