What do you guys think about "parody" games?

I think they're great, it's nice to have that extra bit of context for the world with zero needed effort on the part of the dev and the player. It can lead to issues when a character isn't really acting right depending on the player but it's essentially free interest in your game.

    Do Animations improve a game?

They can but it seems more and more common that trying to animate scenes is just too much for the dev to handle and the rest of the game starts to slip as a result. Even if the animation isn't bad, the actual visual quality of the anim can be very lo-res which takes you out of the experience...

What's your size limit on games

Depends on the type of game but anything over 4GB is a decision to make. I downloaded a ~15GB VN earlier this year and I cannot understand how it would even be half that big with what was on offer.

    Gaming Pet Peeves

Disabling Renpy rewind is enough to make me drop a game but a never-ending annoyance is games that force you to click through areas room by room to get to where you need to go. Why do I need to click an extra 12 times just to get to work to farm for cash because you're waiting for events to...

What do you think makes the most popular adult games stand out?

Beyond a catching art style which should be obvious, I think it's a combination of pacing and writing, not even "story" necessarily. If a game gives you a good variety of touchy-feely moments and animals-wrestling moments without forcing you to click through 67 pages of detailed room...
