Still, my view of the situation is that he made the game quite complicated and time consuming but due to the nature of the game and the policies of the subscription platforms, the financial rewards for his job was miniscule.

He knows that people loved his game but he can't find the way to monetize that, which should be natural if you spend so much time and energy on making a game.

Also, his programming skills aren't that good, so it's even more time consuming for him to make sure that everything works as intended.

At least, the last comments of the Dev in this thread imply this course of events.

So, he maybe lurking around to see what people say, but has no courage to say that the show is over. Or maybe he hopes that he can continue developing the game in the future (I also remember him saying something like that in his most latest comments).

Anyway, I don't loose hope. It's not like as in some other cases when other Devs openly quit and deleted all accounts.

Honestly I get it. Can you stop circlejerking? If anything happens, someone will give us a new pirated version. If nothing happens, here is building up a toxic atmosphere for the dev.
If the problem is mental fortitude, you are shooting yourself in the foot making this thread as shitty as possible.
To remain IT, I love the game and will love it if even if its get rewrited in a more kinetik way to lessen dev time -to - fap ratio.
The way four element trainer did this was the correct way, one route at time.

We all love the game, I think most of us just want to know if everything is ok. If he just didn't have the time to work on it for whatever reason, that is fine. This is not his full time job, so delays are to be expected. It's just that him disappearing for so long considering the type of game he is making, makes people think the worst.

Just downloaded the game, what age should the mc be? Its annoying how some games will manipulate the ages of characters instead of creating a seperate file for the loli content like in parental love, I want the cunny to be as young as possible but withou ruining the lore

The ages are whatever makes sense to you. There are no official canon ages as far as I know.

Alright Ive been playing this game for a while now and I gotta say that this is some good quality weg, with a very impressive storyline and good graphics, I liked how the game got into some deep fetishes like rape and cunnies, hopefully there is a path were you rape women and put them in a harem dungean during the apocolypse, that being said I was hoping for more lolies, the sex scenes with them were good but I hoped for more, hell I cant believe Im saying this but I felt more turned on by the oldhags than the lolies lol
Regardless, I very much liked your work and Ill give it a 8.5/10
Ill be checking future updates and btw this game have some bery good potential, good luck

Sorry to dissappoint you, but there will most likely no future updates coming. Legacy went AWOL around the start of June. Since then nobody got any info, not even on his Discord. Hasn't even been online there. For the time being you should treat it like any other abandoned game/VN. At least until there is a life sign again.

Well thats sad, hopefully its just that hes very busy or that he have some family issues that needs to be solved, hell he could just have taken a summer vacation, worst case scenario that hes dead (god forbid) or got arrested by the feds, I geniouly hope him a sweet recovery because he seems very talented and creative and have to complete this masterpiece

Not that regularly, he logs in like once every 1 or 2 weeks. Also I am pretty sure he is from the U.S and the fbi doesn't really care about these types of games. There are a lot of sites with loli games that have been up for years and they don't do shit about it. Unlike the dumb fucks in australia, the fbi seem to be busy trying to catch real criminals that do stuff to actual real people.

thus making every other further update longer and longer to code and render.....

At this point i wont even mind a "rework". Less paths, less choices, less SIDESTORYS..... as long as he keeps all the lolis, iam happy with what i can get.

Game is great! Love it. One of the few games that deserves all its tags and place in the games+ section. Cant even remember how many times i played thru all its current paths and choices to see the scenes again.

You know, I'm a bit late to the discussion here (though I have followed this game for ages), but it does seem to me like he may just be feeling inadequate to keep up with the insane scope of the project, and that he lurks because he doesn't know how to relay this to people who have supported him.

Speaking from an empathetic perspective, I know I would feel utterly embarrassed to let down people who have supported me for ages, and honestly would keep lurking just to see what people are saying. The best remedy to this would be to inundate whatever servers he is on with positive vibes and messages like what you said Malakai, "Game is great!... Cant even remember how many times i played thru..." etc etc, to give him a consolation boost and let him know he still has support regardless of his radio silence, and that his game is still hands down one of the best in the business. Can you imagine receiving hundreds of only positive messages in the span of a few days? I personally get such a boost from words of affirmation, maybe that would give him a little courage, if not at least boost his own self-worth.

To that end, I would like to do that too, but I don't even know how to reach out. Where is he lurking exactly? Is there a non-expired invite to said servers where he is active? Because I've struck out on Discord... (EDIT: scratch this, finally managed to get the invite link to work by copying it over into the app on my phone!)

Let's all band together and let legacyuser know what a legend he is and how much we appreciate everything he has done already!

I concur and as i repeat often here, my faith is strong and I would love to see a more stramlined process, even a kinetic part. You can always add complexity later if you plan for it, make it different path like four elements trainer, o different longish path returning to the main narrative like most of the games.

it is still a 10/10 and -i am a beggar not a chooser- but still replay it. Also i do not care for complex galleries systems. Four element had one made as a mod for years

The main point is, he was banned from most of the subscription platforms because of the nature of the game. And he was complaining about that shortly before disappearance. All the rest are speculations.
