I love old Japanese movies, Yojimbo is my favorite movie of all time, helps that it's pretty much just a samurai western but I've seen plenty of others, and I have a soft spot for the Jô Shishido yakuza movies of the 60s.

As you can tell spend a lot of my time on old movies, like them better than anything nowadays, Turner Classic Movies is a godsend, it's on Max if you have that in Japan.
Damn, ya covered what I was fixin' to say...
Awesome movies! I was always a huge Zatoichi fan!!
And again? Really?
Hi blood, hope you had a good Sunday.
Love the blind samurai, saw all the movies as well.
Classics. Kinda surprised no one brought up the Crime/Action movies "Hard Boiled","A Better Tomorrow I & II", and "The Killer"..
I used to have an old Ext HD with "The 50 Greatest Martial Arts Movies of All Time"- it took 3 months to track down and torrent all of them. There were some real classics "The 5 Deadly Venoms", "Enter the Dragon", "Crippled Avengers", "Drunken Master",
"Master of the Flying Guillotine"...all of the greats AND before I could watch a single one of them...the HD became unrecoverable and failed. Thank you, Western Digital. I openly wept.
Honestly, I first seen this one but it looks like a..... well.. you work oit out hahahah
She's fun, but just a tiny bit evil.
O yeah yeah, I remember. They are good ones. Most was about Samurai style fighting or Samurai. What I mean is other movies Japan made was not always that good. Yes, they made best fighting movies. It was popular, like the 13 assassins', and yes, the ones you just posted. Did you ever see movies with Toshirō Mifune? He is legend in Japanese movies. IMO the best actor of Japan
Mifune was a LEGEND!

In this last picture- Is he trying to put it in her "Pope" chute?
Anyone experiencing bad weather currently where you are?
If by bad- you mean blistering, hot, humid, sticky, and miserable... Then yes.

How are you? How is your weather?
What, did everyone stop talking because I started?
Where did everyone go?
I was here. Just in one of many, many, many other tabs this site keeps forcing me to open.
I see some people talking about "backreading". Are they just reading the whole thread or something?
You can OR just pick a number and start from there.
It's a really good way to familiarize your with the site and folks in the thread.
Find a comment or pic you like and quote it- it might actually lead to a *gasp* conversation.
Say something witty, meaningful, sarcastic- post a gif or a meme and go from there...
