I used to think the same, but then I ran out of streamers that don't just hype games up, tell me about Raid Shadow Legends and try to dip their toes into some drama here or there because it makes 'em more money.
So right now, I just research a game if it looks interesting (reviews on steam, youtube clips, etc.) and if I'm uncertain, I join our fellow Pirate Captain on the High Seas for a little bit of temporary borrowing or modest purloining.

Yep. If you can read between the lines and understand where the reviewer is coming from, it's a lot easier to know whether their critique or praise is applicable to what your experience would likely be.
With enough reviews, it just is a lot easier to immediately spot issues or see things that're big selling points for you.

You also have to filter out the "noise". It's just like the AVN's. Some of the reviews are from self-entitled spoiled children- "You didn't make the game I wanted." "I don't like 'X', so it's not a good game." Why is [generic, whiny, bitchy reason]?"
And the people that become so "enraged" they send death threats to companies and devs... Really?! You're THAT upset over a game?

Hi Slumster , it was ok. I didn't like the story much but the humor
and action was great. From what i hear you would get a lot more out
of it if you saw all the Wolverine movies .....which i didn't. There was
one scene that was EXTREMELY triggering

Oh they can cure cancer for years now, but we have a big pharma that wants to make money.
The biggest problem is not curing cancer, but preventing it. And we could prevent lots of it, if we eat more healthy. Stop eating fastfood so much. Did more sports. Will it totally prevent it? No probably not, but the chances to get it will be much lower too.

There have been many things that could prevent/cure/or lessen cancer in history. One way is changing the PH value of your body, if it's not acid, but above 7, it's said to kill of cancer cells. We also had HCQ, it was said to also kill of cancer cells. Of course, the hospitals used to large dosis of it, it probably did something, but people also got sick of it. So then they said it didn't work. Didn't it? I don't know, who to believe, a few doctors who experimented with it, or the media constantly telling you otherwise. A third way was years ago (if not 50 years back), someone evented a machine with frequencies, where you would sit in it, and it would send out a certain frequency, everything has a frequency if you can find the frequency of certain cancer cells, you can eradicate them. Because the rest of your body has different frequencies. Oh and don't get the MR vaccines will help a lot too. I'm not sure why they were given, because I never saw anyone getting them, and being immune for covid either.

Lots of stuff today is complete BS it seems, if politicians for example say it, it's not science it's polical. For example Trump being the biggest racist in history, when before he was president, he was loved by everyone, also the black community too. Did a lot for them too. He was on many TV show of Oprah, she asked if he wanted to be president, and he said ONLY if it's really really bad. So now when it is really bad, he became president, and they accused him of everything they could come up with.
