I used to think the same, but then I ran out of streamers that don't just hype games up, tell me about Raid Shadow Legends and try to dip their toes into some drama here or there because it makes 'em more money.The only good thing about streamers nowadays is to see how a game actually performs, the hard part is finding a streamer that i can stand.![]()
So right now, I just research a game if it looks interesting (reviews on steam, youtube clips, etc.) and if I'm uncertain, I join our fellow Pirate Captain on the High Seas for a little bit of temporary borrowing or modest purloining.
Yep. If you can read between the lines and understand where the reviewer is coming from, it's a lot easier to know whether their critique or praise is applicable to what your experience would likely be.User reviews were the other killers, I trust thousands of user reviews over one expert.
With enough reviews, it just is a lot easier to immediately spot issues or see things that're big selling points for you.
