It's a very good game and trying to revive it is great!
But don't you thing changing the rendering engine from HS to DAZ is a good idea?
It will never look the same... I'll try to look for the HS assets if that helps.
Also, I'm a modder and I can easily code in Ren'Py if you didn't already found someone.

Correct me if I am wrong but for them to continue the game as it is wouldn't they need the character cards? Otherwise they would have to recreate all the characters.

Exactly, but maybe the cards are public, there are so many downloadable cards that if you can't find them, you can find almost the same and maybe edit them, correct me if I am wrong
