Okay, so I just recently joined this forum from F95 as a fellow SINNER, and this was the first game I tried. Man, talk about setting the bar high from the get-go. Such a great game about lolis, and possibly the most developed in its viewpoint on child love as a consensual thing. There's also just so many great scenes, damn! Instant favorite, and it'll be really tough to find a game of a similar caliber. Wish I could leave this as a 5-star review too, but I guess my account's too new to be able to do that.

Personally, I find OSiL's more wholesome approach to be a ray of sunshine in the smol space. Before I found it almost all smol stuff I could find was basically the opposite. Arseholes brutalising innocents for their own kicks. Often in truly horrific ways. I learned terms I never even knew existed and was always left feeling ill afterwards.

OSiL's approach was wonderful. It was all consensual. The girls were actually the ones seeking it out. Was all freedom of choice and giving headpats-level stuff. So much sweeter. And far more palatable. I don't like seeing the cuties getting hurt. There are a slew of games out there that provide that, if that's what one is after. OSiL is a light in the darkness of such games. A place to go when you wanna have a good time.

Shiny made a nice sweet safe place for us all to go hang out. Just because a concept is illegal should not force the dev to have no limits to what they make. And just because the LIs are up for it most of the time doesn't mean the MC should be free to just grab them at use them at any time he pleases. I was so glad that was the fail path when trying for Jasmine. You get too eager and the mother does the sane thing and you miss out.

As we saw with AILW, the universe of Loliwood is open for many other stories and scenarios. And I think Shiny might see fit to provide those at some point. But OSiL was never just a shagging sim. It's a story. In which some awesome sex happens too. It's not just a thinly veiled excuse to bang the cuties. And the payoff each time was so worth it. Though Ada could have come to the party a touch sooner, IMO.

Y'know, it's actually quite ironic that aside from the loli part, this is overall a straightforward, wholesome harem VN. I feel like deep down, the vast majority of lolicons are just vanilla normies haha

When you go see Mack and she's looking into the Maxgood agency, there's a load of computer screen behind her. One one of the is a webcam showing a girl and two guys doing stuff. It's nice content. Was it made for the game or was it from something else? Either way, is there a way of seeing it full screen? Much love and keep doing what you're doing.

Been a few days since I checked here and RPFan already pointed out the who of the creator.

The brunette is Keiran, Morrigan's son from the Dragon Age series (who can have the soul of an ancient god if you play the first one right). No idea who the blonde is. Though Sarah does call him Alex in the video, but I don't have a clue where that model is from.

KDE seemed to really like using Kieran in a lot of their works. It's such a shame that they've retired from making these kinds of works now. They were incredibly good at it. And it was 100% the kind of thing that Mack would be into.

Others in a similar vein I know of would be SelfDrillingSMS and TheIncredibleChris. If you're looking for more in that vein.

Too right. It's a seriously high bar for a first game to play of its kind. You lucky devil. I wish OSiL had been my first exposure. It's so delightfully sweet and fun. It's such a relief to have a game that is just about all pure fluff to come back to if any of the other games hurt my soul too badly. A perfect comfort food to wash away the bad taste. What little drama there is doesn't colour the experience. Sometimes, attempts to make the story more punchy leave an otherwise great game tainted by the final act. OSiL just leaves you wanting more of this greatness.

Keep an eye out for when you can review it. It definitely deserves all the 5-star reviews it can get. The Sinner section is a great way to find other similar games. Though, IMO, none hit quite the same perfect storm of great elements as this one. There are some that do come very close.

Though both are much narrower in scope of LIs than OSiL.

That's probably enough recs to get you started. Hopefully it's ok to rec them on here as being similar to OSiL, at least in some aspects. Very little hits all the same notes as OSiL. But I greatly enjoyed those too. But this will always be the game I judge others against. We'll always have that One very wholesome Summer...

I can't seem to get that site to work but have tried a few others instead and no luck. Are you sure it's Sarah? I could have sworn the girl in the video i'm after has longer hair... I'll keep looking. Thanks for the help though.

Yeah that site has a lot of good stuff but it's riddled with ads and scripts, it's a mess.
Also, i might have forgotten, it seems it's necessary to have a log-in to use the search or direct links to videos.

Definitely try Shiny's other games. And anything by RPFan is a must play. Very similar feel to Shiny and they have some shared content between them. If only easter eggs. Doc5252 has some truly whacky games, but I've very much enjoyed playing them, 13 Games has a trio of games, with Our Island being a particular fave of mine. These are all excellent recommendations! Since joining this forum, I've been devouring the Sinner section and have tried a bunch of really nice (and some less nice) games.

PL and IA are games I actually found & finished back in F95 before they panic banned almost all the smol-containing games, and they're some of my fondest lewd games. PL especially (Sisterly Lust too) helped me discover my preference for playing paternal figures, and generally building a loving harem that also had a heavy dose of corruption in the process.

SSP and PF both rightly deserve their praise! I tried both first during the F95 gloliden age, then sought them out after. The search for PF's latest version actually led me to find LC; the search result was a forum thread talking about F95's lolipocalypse, but also the sad state of PF's author. They're both coherent stories with lots of content, and I'd rather not rank one over the other. PF is definitely lighter themed than SSP, and so closer to Loliwood in that sense.

I've played through (and loved) Our Island, though the really depressing first part was rough to go through. Once they get on the island proper though, it's just an absolute joy with lots of content for how short it was overall. I'm definitely a fan of tomboys so Claire is my fave, but the Indian(?) characters unlocked a new preference haha.

I'll definitely dive into all the other recommendations! Thanks for sharing them.

While the point in many of these games is to be the biggest creep and be controlling, in this game you get further by being nice.

@ShinyDevon ; I don't generally do official updates except when I have a new release, but considering how much I slowed down this past year I probably should. I am still working on stories and games, but at a greatly reduced rate due to other obligations. I also dumped a lot of time into two projects that are now on hold (Comatose and Lake Delilah).

Currently I'm working on Sweet Memories #3, which still has at least another month of work. After that my plan is to finally return to OSiL to make the handful of epilogue scenes I've had in mind (Mostly dangling threads like "What BIG things happened at Ava's house?" and "How did Jade react to Cliff's love?"). I'll also probably update/improve some of the renders from Chapter 3.

No actual timeline promises on any of that, sadly. I completely understand anyone who pauses or cancels financial support! I appreciate it a ton, but when I started working on OSiL (over 6 years ago! ) I didn't expect it would ever be an option; I just wanted to share my weird stories and hopefully find people who would enjoy them. Even today verbal encouragement means a lot more to me/my motivation for sharing my stories (Just ask anyone who's ever given me a real-time string of reactions via DM when they play one of my games for the first time; I basically melt )
