This is one of the best loli games ever made. So why doesn't it have a textbox opacity slider?

I have no idea. I unren:ed it and made some adjustments to two of the script files. I tested it and it works for me on PC. Extract the files to the "game" directory. Adjust the opacity under preferences. I'm still new at modding so if it doesn't work for you, just delete the files.

In theory, it should work for Android as well. Just make a folder called "game" in the "files" folder for the game (osil.v109).

I don't know why TF the dev is so obsessed with the idea of "light hearted" "good ****s" kind of story? You are creating an illegal content in the first place FFS! why not stick to it??? couldn't you drop the rap* concept entirely from the game if you are so afraid of it and make use of the kinky scenarios you've made instead of throwing them away?

This game could have 5 stars easily if the dev didn't wimp on it.

Personally, I find OSiL's more wholesome approach to be a ray of sunshine in the smol space. Before I found it almost all smol stuff I could find was basically the opposite. Arseholes brutalising innocents for their own kicks. Often in truly horrific ways. I learned terms I never even knew existed and was always left feeling ill afterwards.

OSiL's approach was wonderful. It was all consensual. The girls were actually the ones seeking it out. Was all freedom of choice and giving headpats-level stuff. So much sweeter. And far more palatable. I don't like seeing the cuties getting hurt. There are a slew of games out there that provide that, if that's what one is after. OSiL is a light in the darkness of such games. A place to go when you wanna have a good time.

Shiny made a nice sweet safe place for us all to go hang out. Just because a concept is illegal should not force the dev to have no limits to what they make. And just because the LIs are up for it most of the time doesn't mean the MC should be free to just grab them at use them at any time he pleases. I was so glad that was the fail path when trying for Jasmine. You get too eager and the mother does the sane thing and you miss out.

As we saw with AILW, the universe of Loliwood is open for many other stories and scenarios. And I think Shiny might see fit to provide those at some point. But OSiL was never just a shagging sim. It's a story. In which some awesome sex happens too. It's not just a thinly veiled excuse to bang the cuties. And the payoff each time was so worth it. Though Ada could have come to the party a touch sooner, IMO.

There is no wasted potential IMO. It's already a five-star game about a guy coming to terms with his perversion, finding a like-minded individual to spend his life with and providing wish fulfilment to a load of girls.

As for your other complaints, there is sex at both the club and the beach (the siblings in the background is one of my absolute fave moments in the entire game). A loli orgy at a resort. Multiple different sex scenes with multiple partners. About the only scene you bring up that doesn't have any sex in it is the masquerade party. And that's because it's a slew of fucking rapists about to meet some Professional Justice.

And sure, there are three dream sequences that provide a bit of fan service without actually furthering the plot. One imagined blowjob, one fantasy shortly afterwards and a session with a pair of loli angels. All of which are far better than the usual dream sequences in VNs and each serves a purpose. Heaven forbid a dev wants to tell an actual story in their game as well as provide copious amounts of sex.

I'm not really sure what more you wanted out of those scenarios. The loli orgy was freaking fantastic. And the rest of the sex was delightfully sensible for the size of the LIs. Which as I noted before was one of the major appeals of this game. With the exception of his blessed stamina, the MC is just a regular bloke having fairly normal sex. It's a nice change to see. There aren't unnecessary bonkers positions or crazy scenarios (apart from the Angel sex). It's fairly grounded within its altered concept.

The whole central concept of the game is that consent is king regardless of age (in the fantasy world of the game, obviously). That freedom to sexually express oneself is a literal god-given right that cunts are trying to suppress so that they can feel powerful when they do it by force instead. That's the wholesome part. That it's the LA's choice to indulge in such behaviour.

It's all willing and consensual. Usually sensible in scope unless the girl really wants the MC to give it to her good and proper (looking at you Amber Abby). Otherwise, he takes it easy as he should when having the kinds of sex involved. There is almost a loving edge to every session the MC gets involved in. And it's adorable. So many games are about getting the MC off no matter what. But each and every love scene in OSiL has a brilliant sweetness that is so rare in VNs.

The only thing I would change about OSiL is to make it longer. To get Shiny to give us more of the same. Because what is here is better than five stars. It's a blessing.

I was tempted to be more explicit about certain things, but I figured I'd keep it a bit vague as to not be too spoilery. Or have to hide half the post behind spoiler tags.

But it's definitely one of the all-time greatest games. Yes, there are games out there that do certain parts better. Who have damn near photo-realistic renders and environments or a sweeping soundscape throughout that perfectly compliments the game. But OSiL is the complete package that does what it says on the tin, while never pretending to be something it's not. It doesn't add in superfluous junk just to pad the runtime. It tells its story. It gives us some superb sex scenes and it is fun playing through it.

Plus it is so damned replayable, even doing the exact same things every time. I'm sure Shiny has things they look at and think that they could do better. But I honestly wouldn't change anything about it. Even the long-winded 'seduction' of Bridget. Because that final payoff was fucking excellent.

I get that the game might not be everyone's cup of tea. But it is accurately tagged and delivers on the premise in spades. If people do their due diligence before downloading, they will know what they're getting into. If you don't like something in the tags, steer clear. If you do, you will most likely love OSiL.

As evidenced in three long posts about it, I can wax lyrical about this game for days. It's just that good IMO.
