discussion Do you only play games that have a male MC?

Personally if I see a game that says it has a female MC or even 'multiple protagonists', I leave it alone and don't touch it, sticking to 'male protagonist' centred games.

Is this true of the majority, or am I in the minority?

If you're a male, do you just want to play as a female MC in order to see her get fucked or corrupted?

Or maybe you're a female yourself and want the character to reflect your gender?

Mostly, yes, male MC. (because if I play with a female MC I tend to turn her into a slut )
But I'll play anything if it's good

I don't have an issue with female MC, although i avoid these games when there is lesbian genre involved. I guess I'm just not into that.
Female or male protagonist is fine for me, but i agree with the point about multiple protagonists, it just sounds like a mess lol

Male MC preferred. There's at least 2 games that I seen that have the Female MC and have amazing visuals that I wish had a male protagonist. One is Tales from Deep: Eve and the other I cant remember.

I don't mind playing a female, sometimes the content is interchangeable so no difference or has content specific for the gender so I like to see that.

Ah, that's another tag, "trans/futa", that I try to avoid. I don't want to see a chick with a dick, and there's been games I've played previously that surprise you with that and it ruins the game for me.

Maybe that's my sticking point then, personally I don't, and it's why I avoid erotica from female POV's as well now. I used to read them if the story seemed interesting and the kink appealed to me, but too many have turned the characters into huge sluts and it doesn't appeal to me. I suppose I like a male lead that I can relate to, or at least immerse myself in the role when I play as or read from their point of view.

Female MC games tend to lean towards the Corruption genre, which is a fave so FMC games are probably over-represented in my collection.

I strongly prefer male MC but I do gingerly try female MC. Why gingerly? If the story grips me, fine. However, I have a few “oh hell no” things:

I definitely don’t want to kink shame. Yet, personally, I can’t stand the “ugly bastard” “old as fuck” and “non-con” content, which seems to be damn common for F-MC.

Plus, with my secondary kink of impregnation (primary:incest), having a F-MC means 1 impregnation, likely at the end of the story. With M-MC, it can be several women.

Yeah, noncon is a turn off for me as well, from any point of view. I've known too many people that I care about who've been SA'd to ever feel turned on from it.
