I mostly play for the MC on female scenes. Using a female MC typically involves fewer female scenes as there is the traditional M/F romance plots and it gets boring watching the scenes as the female MC.

For me, the gender of the MC doesn't play any role. I can play as a girl (as in Bright Past) or a man with equal pleasure.

Yes, absolutely. I will go with a male MC if I can only because I'm not to fond of being on the business end of an adult game if I have to be a female MC. There are definitely some games out there that do it right, like Kingdom of Deception or Chloe18. But by and large, I'll go male (or even futa since it's the same thing but on steroids) because I have more autonomy in the game. At least, given how adult games tend to be written if you know what I mean.

Ah, but this is precisely why I don't like playing female characters. The bad things part as a female MC is what kinda kills any incentive to play as a female character. Not necessarily because I'm some hugs and kisses romantic type who dislikes the bad things part, but because I like the power and agency that female MCs are typically denied precisely because they are female. Nowadays, any female MC is likely in a game that is generally built around BDSM or being a target of "snuggle struggles".

I like corruption and focusing on a single person over a bunch. Male MCs almost always have a wider cast, so female MCs are better for single target corruption games. I don't have that absolute need to self insert into whatever character I am controlling so it doesn't bother me to play one outside of my gender. Same reason as why NTR games don't bother me.

Now that you say it, I never liked several protagonists, man or woman, I find those approaches uninteresting although sometimes they can be interesting, I already hate the change of perspective in normal games (with some exceptions like Rachet and Clank), no I'll tell you in the games h.

I am with you with that, even more so in AVNs then in "normal" games... I can play female MC, there are quite a few I really like, and male MC obviously too, but whenever I see "multiple protagonist" I am already half out the door, it just doesn't work well for the fantasy I guess...

I am probably missing out on a lot of good games, I do not play any where a female is the mc. Any one else refuse to play their opposite gender.

I think Bad Memories that lets you play as male or female is the only one I've liked. For an adult game for other games i like playing as a chick because i don't want to stare at a dude's ass for hours. I'd rather do that with Femshep or V from Cyberpunk 2077.
