I've just released the V9 ALPHA for my subs. There are three teenage MC scenes. No shota MC in V9, but in V10 there will be plenty.

The simplest (which everyone does, including me) is DAZ. You just have to spend a lot of time on it to learn how to produce something decent. The most important thing for me is the writing and the code. For writing, no advice, just write. As far as code is concerned, Renpy seems to be the easiest to date.

That's exactly the problem with this generation. Quick, Fast, Faster, Immediate... We let the AI make what we don't want, before we can't anymore. Why all this? More money faster? Okay, may death take me before I know a mode devoid of human imagination.

Do not get the appeal of having an AI write for you. Is not the point of writing stuff the outlet of one's own imagination? Not one of the modern AI implementations has shown off anything I would want to publish under my pen name.
And ever since they added it to Grammarly the suggestions have been getting worse. It is now yelling at me for writing 'person and I' suggesting I change it to 'person and me'. Which decades of writing and loads of pop culture references have assured me is not the correct version.
I'll stick to writing my own works and never meeting my made up deadlines, thanks. At least then I know all the good and bad parts came from me.

I don't know man. I think it depends on the dev. If we were talking about someone like Mr dots I think A.I would do a much better job. 
All joking aside, the A.I stuff always feels so soulless. Just because you can do something faster with A.I, it doesn't make it better quality.

I agree that a literate writer can do much better than AI, and SSP is a good example. However, some of the stuff I read in AVNs is just horrible english with all kinds of errors to the point that it's rather difficult to follow and very distracting. AI might actually be useful to get new ideas, basically one can use it to bounce ideas back and forth. Can also be used to fix typos. For generation itself, nope.

Maybe they could help non-native English folk with their translations. But that's about the only benefit I can see to them.
Writing should be a personal expression, not a necessary step to pumping out content. If that's why someone makes something, it will have no soul. See above comment for example.
Maybe one day it'll be different, and these tools will be worth using. But as yet, they've not managed to get close to a concept I was imagining when using one of the image ones. If it can't turn a simple prompt into a partially accurate image, I doubt it can turn a basic idea into an actual story, much less all the other writing involved in a VN production.
