From what I heard on the devs discord all of the sub platforms have nuked his accounts except patreon. So he has completely paused his patreon(not taking new subs or payments) and put the game on hold until he can figure out what is going on. The update for .36 was almost done when that happened close to a month ago iirc.

The Dev just recently been here and assures that the game development will continue. I believe in this game much more that in some other where the last update was moths ago.

Yes, use the "571277_RenPy_universal_transparent_textbox_mod_v2.6.1_by_Penfold_Mole"

This mod was stripped of unnecessary code by some guy (deleted user).
On rare occasions, you need to replace the background picture.

The rpy yes. The png is for rare ones where the rpy doesn't work, then you have to find the png and replace it.

HardDaddyTimes answered the part about the rpy file. That png, if needed, would by default go in: ./game/gui/

It goes in ./game/gui/ (not in ./game/)

And if that still keeps the quick menu hidden... then it shouldn't need to be used.

I Played the current version of the game and liked it very much, i plan to replay it with other choices.
The game still has many potential story parts to tell in my oppinion that's why I' hope that either the next update or any future updates will have more "smaller chapters" on the main storyline from Prologue Chapter 3 until the end of Prologue Chapter 4, and i also think that Prologue Chapter 3 could use some side stories and parts that introduce the characters which appear only in the Prologue Chapter 4 in the current version, and maybe the Prologue Chapter 4 could also use some more side stories of more of the other characters' encounters with the anomalies and beasts, and there could also be a part that leads back to the Present Day where the game began before it took a "flashback to the past", and also when the game returns to the Present Day at the end of Prologue Chapter 4 it could also have some "small chapters" about some Present Day events with all the characters and could also be expanded to some events in the future.

I was wondering the same, does anyone know if everything is going okay here? I checked around, but couldn't get much info, what I did find was this PSA on patreon that made me worry. Most recent devlog was oct 21st, but I'm not subbed so I can't read it. Either way LegacyUser is awesome and I hope all is going well with him and his game.

i might be wrong but from this devlog and PSA i sense that maybe the dev got banned from patreon, and well as i saw stuff written from other devs that released games similar to this one, patreon is quite strict about "sensitive content" such as lolies in a game (so the devs hafta be careful with it) and so maybe "something went wrong" with this game also having that in it and so the dev might have got banned for it on patreon but im not sure tho, it's only what was the first thing that came to my mind after reading that devlog and PSA. Anyway i hope he will continue this game (cuz as i wrote earlier it still has possible potential story parts to tell) and we can still give ideas and reviews and stuff here and on the dev's discord while waiting for new infos on how the game's development goes. I also hope this game wont be abandoned, it would be a great loss if it would get abandoned like so many other games.

The Dev was very active and responsive in this thread until recently. I hope he will overcome the temporary difficulties, whatever they are, and continue this wonderful game.

Bad news indeed but from the tone and wording of that announcement though he was banned off more then patreon.

Sounds like someone snitched or reported his game. Anyway his health is more important and I hope he recovers.

Just to be clear he wasn't banned on patreon. His page is still up. He was banned from a bunch of platforms like deviantart and he decided to suspend payments on patreon. After that he hasn't really been active on discord and the server is pretty much dead at this point. That is why I asked if anyone knew anything about the update.
