The Peter Capaldi Doctor was when then quality of writing dropped more consistently and quickly. Yes, Dr. Who has been somewhat political in the past. BUT the STORY quality was good, so the politics were not as blatant. Honestly, I think the writing was actually starting to drop in quality around the end of the 'Impossible girl' arc and got worse after that.I stopped watching around the time of Peter Capaldi. (?) Can anyone tell me if it was good?
I always loved Doctor Who, but now it's another propaganda machine. The new stuff will look amazing, but it will be the most woke non-Doctor Who thing you've ever seen.Next season releasing may 11th. Hope its good. I do like the new doctor, just worried the writing is going to let them down like it did during the shitnail era.

Yeah i liked her in Attack the Block and Broadchurch. She was awful as the Doctor, but i liked the last episode she was in it was decent. The series over all was poorly written. It wasn't a complete loss though, even in less than spectacular seasons you can like the companion but think the Doctor is a total miscast.before the "politics" took a backseat and it was story driven ever since lady doctor its been the story taking the backseat and its just political garbage now..., i don't blame the actress she did the best she could do with the script... but the script is so bad no one can save it...
