Genesis Order has been consuming a lot of my time lately. Not finished it yet, but so far it seems like it will take a top position in my recent "excellent games" mental list.

The main reason we don't see many games (parody or not) about Hollywood is that Hollywood SUES people for ANYTHING. There have been several games that changed characters appearance to avoid a lawsuit. Yes, you MIGHT get away with something small using characters that look SIMILAR to minor celebrities, but even that IS a risk. If you try anything related to or owned by Disney, you WILL be getting calls from the lawyers.

there have been plenty of disney character based games.

hell, akabar, one of the bigger devs from a decade or so back, before this scene started growing in the western world, started with his "princess trainer" game

a quick search shows games still being updated after years. there's one on buttzone thats has been getting developed for like seven years now.

just keep your head down, mark it as parody, and don't name them in the title and it seems they'll just ignore you.
