Yeah, the upscaling just makes all the girls look weirdly-proportioned now, after I restarted to see the re-renders. Renders with characters by themselves still look fine/unchanged, but when they're near other people, the ex-lolis are all now these weird big-headed creatures next to normally-proportioned characters like the MC. The game was looking like it was going to do its best to walk in the footsteps of Ecchi Sensei and Money or Morals, and now it just doesn't do that at all. It was a shame, I was looking forward to seeing where this goes, but now I've just lost interest in even seeing how Day 2 turns out.

You didn't miss anything. Day 2 basically turned this game into a "The Headmaster" clone only more kinetic.

I do however completely call bullshit on the dev's assertion that he had already planned to age up the characters. If his vision of the game was with older girls, why go through the trouble of making content with younger girls? He had to know aging them up would piss off 90% of the fans of the initial version, at least before this Westy bullshit went down. Now he might be able to get away with pissing off 80% of the fanbase instead. Still a completely nonsensical move, and probably just a virtue-signaling lie in the first place.

to get around australia, you have to remove any short female with small bewbs cuz to them that is definitely a girl, they believe a woman has gigantic tits and an ass that forces them to walk sideways through doorways.... ie a caricature of a woman. personally i find that look disgusting, like they should diet haha

Isn't there a way to skirt around it with a 'patch' that simply enables or adds back in the ''loli'' renders? That isn't hosted on any site that SS or other monetary sites could latch on to. Just asking, not in any way demanding any changes.

Devs freaked the fuck out because of the westy stuff. If you just put all the loli stuff in a patch and don't post the links for it on your SS you will be fine. Just use a site like lewdpatcher to post the patch. There are games with loli content on patreon like maou-sama, deadlocked in time and apartment 69 and they are fine, because all the loli stuff is not posted there. You can always claim that the patch is fan made, which is not really that hard since this game uses HS models and you just need the characters cards and anyone can make scenes with the characters.

That kind of thing seems to work for Patreon limitations for some other devs as long as it's not talked about on those devs' Patreon itself or anywhere linked from those devs' Patreon, but it wouldn't work for legal indemnification if that's the concern.

On the other hand, if the intent really was to have upscaled these characters even before the AUS stuff happened, then it's just not going to happen at all in any way, and this kind of speculation is pointless. I also don't know what the intent would have been, since the game looks worse now, has inconsistent dialogue/behaviors now, and doesn't really have anything that makes it unique anymore... So I expect the same response to it that Family Faring is rightfully earning.

The way games like maou-sama do it for example, is that they just put every piece of sexual content in the patch. The loli characters still look the same but without the patch you never see them naked or in sexual situations. But yeah if his concern is getting in trouble with the law, it wouldn't help much. I find it weird that he was intending to change the characters anyway but still released the game with loli characters, it doesn't make much sense to me.
I haven't played the update yet so I can't judge the new designs yet but yea if what made you interested in the game were the loli characters, once they are removed there is not much for you to keep supporting the game. At least in the case of family faring since you can't support this one yet.

Just finished the update and honestly the characters look fine to me. Morgana's face is the only one that looks a little weird some times but other than that I didn't really mind the changes.

i find a ton of AVN's are just giant boobs or flat chests, so honestly after playing through there were a lot of nice small but still existing breasts. if it keeps up like this with only one giant boob'd girl i think the game will be fine for me.

Yeah, the changes aren't extreme at all. If I had just downloaded it without looking at people saying their were changes, not sure i'd of really noticed. I know some games have aged characters up, only one that comes to mind as an example would be Daddy Daughter Love and that was a significant change, this isn't that.

Obviously untouched would have been preferred, but some people have blown this way out of proportion. I'm honestly surprised the changes weren't more encompassing if it was to remove the game from the danger zone.

Yeah, same, might as well have abandoned it like Corrupted Love or Family Faring should have been. Remove incest and/or lolis after getting baited with them = no longer worth shit to me, 10,000+ other vanilla AVNs to read if I was interested in that.

Well, folks, regardless of your opinions about it, I think we've all given what we thought, and the dev has clearly made his decision. The game no longer has the loli tag and does not have the Restricted flair, so if you were following/playing specifically for lolis, it's time to Unwatch and/or Ignore and let the dev build his vanilla audience.

Is this going to become one of those threads where people will just keep complaining about the same thing over and over again? We all agree that it sucks that devs feel the need to change their games because some countries think pixels are real people. But the dev already made his decision, now it's up to the players to decide if they want to keep playing or not. If you think that the game is so bad now, that it should've probably been abandoned then don't play it. Also the girls don't even look that old. Most of them I would say that they look between 13 and 15.
