Felt like diving into this to learn how to code in RenPy. Took me a couple hours but I managed to make a simple textbox opacity fix for this game. If anyone wants it, just extract the folder below into the "game" directory inside the game's root folder. Example: something like "That_New_Teacher-Day1-pc/game"

Isn't there a way to skirt around it with a 'patch' that simply enables or adds back in the ''loli'' renders? That isn't hosted on any site that SS or other monetary sites could latch on to. Just asking, not in any way demanding any changes.

Yeah, dunno... like, it works much better then most other games that have done it renderwise, I will give you that, they are still really cute lookin girls... but the dialogue, oof... gotta see how its in future scenes, but the whole Georgia scene gets kinda destroyed by that for example, so...
You can either do a age-thing and be like "The character is 18, but what age would you like her to roleplay"-thing and go with the dialogue (which would be my choice, let them have some roleplay old-young fun at least xD) or you rewrite the dialogues to completly eliminate any mention of age, because lines that are clearly meant to hint at a very young age with "18-year old" are at most funny, but never hot
(Tho, maybe you already did the first and its only wrong there, since there still is the age question in the beginning? In that case Georgias scene would have a missing link to that )

Checked out your new code. Nice update on the opacity. I didn't even know you could do an alpha transform on the textbox background.

Yeah, the upscaling just makes all the girls look weirdly-proportioned now, after I restarted to see the re-renders. Renders with characters by themselves still look fine/unchanged, but when they're near other people, the ex-lolis are all now these weird big-headed creatures next to normally-proportioned characters like the MC. The game was looking like it was going to do its best to walk in the footsteps of Ecchi Sensei and Money or Morals, and now it just doesn't do that at all. It was a shame, I was looking forward to seeing where this goes, but now I've just lost interest in even seeing how Day 2 turns out.
