Is anyone else having trouble running this game? I downloaded it for PC and it opens a window for a few seconds then crashes every time. I had the same issue with the last release and I was hoping the update would fix it.

I'm running on Windows 10 and other Renpy games run without issue.

I run it on linux and had the same crash problem on 0.1 version, but only when I tried to change any default settings. In this new version it stopped responding when i tried to change the autoplay speed setting, then I had to force it to close. Also the extra scene doesn't play. It goes straight to the main menu after skipping when the game reaches the black screen.

I just ran a new instance (lost my prior saves) and had no issue with the branch I had taken, so maybe wipe(backup) your saves and try again? Though I didnt mess with the setting at all.

OTOH:
Wholly shit-balls was that a fucking wild ride. I have never bounced so much from glee to distgust to being horrified and back again. Then after reading some of the posts in the thread, I am just amazed. I dont know if the dev is a genious or a pre-doc psych major with one hell of a thesis, but the contoversy and conflict stirred up in here would probably make one cream their pants.

Definitely for it, but I do feel like including music is more dangerous than having questionable content in your game.

If you knew this game was going to be incest, rape, loli and you're being unapologetic about it, why did you make step-daughter the default relationship if it's optional? Now you've gone and fallen into the context and grammer pit traps Ren'py devs make in their games when they try to play it safe and/or don't commit to their taboos.

I've just played trough v0.1 and v0.2 in one go and fist of all I'd like to say that I like the game on the whole.

But it is not perfect as some fellow wankers in this tread claim and one of the things is the grammar. For example, throughout the whole game the Dev uses "you're" instead of "your". It looks like a batch change has been applied universally to the whole text.
There is some mislabeled dialogue, one example is in the scene when the MC comes to the Emmie's room just before he fingers her while getting a BJ from her. Some of the lines are referred to Stephanie who is not even preset there.
Another thing that I didn't quite like is some models and some renders. Emmie in general is not the prettiest of the models, but in many renders she looks ugly as fuck. Stephanie's model is cute but in many scenes she looks like she just got punched in the face by Mike Tyson. The same happens to other models. All in all the facial expressions is not the strongest part of the game.

This bit of criticism aside, the game is very solid and the story is quite different from all the usual self-repeating AVN tropes. Keep up the good work!

Some suggestions.

Please consider replacing vid88.webm and vid89.webm with a POV angle from the MC's perspective looking down instead.

The camera perspective in those two videos makes it almost seem like it's the player who's getting fucked by the MC. EXTREME turn-off.

Similarly in script.rpy,

scene pshower21 with multi_flash

is better off being replaced with

As a general rule of thumb, it is best if close up shots of MC's face is avoided during sex scenes. ESPECIALLY DURING CLIMAX.

I didnt see anything at the end. After that message popped up it was just a black screen no matter how many clicks occurred etc. just endless blackness (which was odd, usually people send you back to the start menu).

It's only if you're on both "good" paths (grooming Emmie and the non-murder/conspiracy path for Steph). If you're on those then keep clicking/holding down CTRL and you'll eventually get to the questions. Filter is the first answer, and B000006OAQ is the second.

I thought 0.1 was one of the most fucking brilliant chapters of a VN I have seen in the six years I have been playing them. But I definitely agree with you about 0.2. Both endings have that fucking demonic teddy bear and it just takes a fantastic psychological mindfuck of a game and derails it with supernatural evil spirits and shit. I really liked how grounded in something like reality the game initially seemed, whether on the grooming or force path. The teddy bear/Hi-Jo shit I hope is just a hiccup or a dream (as I assume the murder/suicide is) and that the game gets back on track with 0.3 after Deaufosse has had time to clear his head with playing Starfield and deving 0.3 of Burned.

It worked the first try for me. It might be because i also chose the answers that i DO NOT WANNA MOLEST ANYONE, like the choice in the kitchen with emmy, or "jiggle time!" with whoopsie, i always choose no!NONONO! Until the MC does it anyway. And i was ofc on the groom/ non murder path.
Then i just skipped as far as it could go in the ending and manually clicked a few times more, and then got the secret scene.
