One real problem of RPGM no one mentioned - it quickly eats battery charge. I often play lewd games on my laptop while lying on sofa and battery are enough for 4 hours. RenPy consumes noticeably less battery charge.

There are bad RPGM games and there are good ones. The same is true for Renpy. The level of quality is caused by the dev not the game engine. Other than rollback, Renpy isn't really better; it's just different. If you're making just a straight visual novel, then Renpy is your best choice as it is specifically designed for visual novels. If you're wanting to make an actual game with adult elements, than another engine like RPGM or Unity is often better.

I have to say roll back is a huge deal, ive saw some renpy games that didnt have that and it just made it so much worse

Nothing wrong with RPGM by itself. The problem is that almost every game has the same boring gameplay which got old in the 90s.

Hey, remember when people used to say Unity sucked? Yeah... Not the engine's fault, mate. Blame the lazy devs, the engine has nothing to do with it. You can make game that are just as bad or worse in Ren'Py, Unity, Unreal, or whatever your engine of choice is. Again, this has nothing to do with the engine and everything to do with the dev.

Cant argue whit your coents there. I think RPGM are ok. It justcomes down to what you are loocking for,and jusaly we hawe a realy good opinion on what we like and want. Also somtime we culd be suprised. So my sugestion if you see somting that culd be intresting maybe rty it out. You newer know.

A prefix to exlude or include what you want would not be bad.

Renpy also pumps out a lot of a low quality games, but I do agree rpgmaker is worse. Its a worse gameplay experience and the switch between the pixel graphics and the high quality visual novel stuff is fucking awful.

Only exception i found is my girlfriends amneisa and thats good inspite of it being rpgm, would be so much better as renpy

You can already filter games. Just select the engines you like and it filters out the rest.
