Abandoned Ren'Py DAZ My Sister's Devious Plot [0.4] [MacroxssZ]

The content of the version posted here is not allowed on F95. The version posted to F95 has blank screens for the relevant scenes.

On F95 the patch can be downloaded too, so it's not really restricted...

The dev is a friend of mine and asked me to say the game is officially abandoned and he's deleting all his accounts.
He already deleted the discord profiles and servers. The reason for that is quite obvious.

Hopefully he actually had to do that and it is not just a panic rushed decision, because depending on which country he is, he would be able to proceed without any issues.
Anyway, a shame but understandable. My favorites here were the big ass milfs anyway so maybe he can start a new game without the loli stuff

He was going to abandon it anyways. I knew that when I left his team a few weeks ago. He just found a really great excuse today to get away with it.

I think the dev that got arrested was just very unlucky with the place he lives in. Australia is known to still ban some games for being "too violent". I understand why people are concerned but I think there are some devs that are being a little too hasty and deleting everything when in some cases where they live it's not even against the law.

Another one bites the dust. Which game will be abandoned or rushed to completion next?

Anyway this is the second game he abandoned.

Unlucky? More like "inevitable".
I support developers all the time, just not these kind. I take great effort in concealing my identity through VPN and assorted advanced methods of obfuscation, why open a giant hole with an easily traceable payment plan?
Jesus Christ.

I mean without a way to funding these games, they wouldn't really exist. Australia is just a country with really dumb laws. There are a lot of video games there that get banned, because they are "too violent" or some other dumb reasom.

Then they'll need to find alternate methods, but even bitcoin isn't as safe as people think. .Off the top of my head, perhaps they can make a game with adults, then offer a patch anonymously that converts it. I am not a graphic dev, but there must be some way to accomplish this.
Meanwhile, to all you paying patrons, best of luck.

People used to do something similar on patreon. They would have the "normal" game and then have patch outside of patron to add either incest or other type of content that wasn't allowed there. There are actually still a few games there that do this.

Dont answer to people like him. He is obviously from cuck95 or reddit that is happy that shit like this happens. Coz its not his kind of games he would support. but commenting on a game like "this" stating that this would have been "inevitable" . Dont feed the troll

I read this and immediately thought of another project on here where the dev's previous project was criticized as being rushed to completion. Two threads later, that guy is pausing the current one.

I think a lot of the flakier attention deficit devs will take the snow day for a dusting on the ground.

Who was arrested? Which game(s) are impacted?
Sorry, first I have heard of this and am curious :)

Westy the dev of proud father seems to have been arrested because of his game. Because of that a lot of devs are worried that they could get in trouble as well so a lot of them are either putting their game on hold or just deleting all their stuff.

right now I think the devs are waiting to see how it's gonna play out with Westy. if he walked out of it with no problems then everything will go back to normal. if not, then I'm afraid it's gonna take a while before they master up the courage to continue their projects. ?

Maybe I am being too optimistic but I think in maybe a month things go back to normal Right now westy is out on bail and the court date is in december so it will take a while to find out what happens. But his case is an unique one because he lives in a country with very strict laws. They are always trying to ban stuff like anime and manga. There are bunch of regular video games there are banned there because of really dumb reasons. A game like south park the stick of truth, they wanted to ban it because of depictions of violence against children. I think they eventually allowed the game but that shows you just how crazy that country is. I think devs should take this oportunity to find ways to make their stuff safer and maybe tweek their stories a little bit but I think there are a lot of people jumping the gun and deleting their stuff when it reality this will most likely be only an australian thing and die with just westy.
