  • Donation Rewards & Vault Credit System Update
A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. The goal is to remove bug-generated credits, protect real donation history, and rebuild the system in a cleaner and safer way going forward. - Jack Of Blades

Looking at the "what was the first adult game you played" thread, I noticed that for the older generation LSL is THE seminal game (pun completely intended).

I would like to know what is your experience with the game, and if the newer versions still hold some appeal to you.

For those who don't know what they are "missing", I would point you to this: Leisure Suit Larry Collection

Do the earlier games in the series suffered from the same old "Sierra moon logic puzzle" issue as King's Quest?

i've played the first one when i was a teenager. it was my gateway game for point&click genre. it was really funny.
for the new ones i've only tried the one which staged in hollywood, not sure about the name. it's fun but lost something from the original imo.

would totally recommend old ones to anyone likes the genre. comedic gold.

It's been awhile but yes I believe all the early Sierra games had some obtuse puzzles. I remember being frustrated at least a few times with every one I played :D

I may sound as a heretic, but I'm old enough to remember the original one from Sierra which it was just a normal old style adventure where you had to type it's actions. And i prefer
it's humor the way it was. Edgy, somewhat lewd but with always a funny twist, playing a horny middle age man who tries to get lucky and keep failing.
We have so many fuckboys MC in here, give us a true loser!

Played the first one a long time ago and really enjoyed it. Not sure why but haven't tried any of the others.

I missed this thread existing. And I might be the person who brought the game up in the referenced other thread...

Yeah, such a good game series. It's really less of a fap game, and more of a comedy.

You're less likely to bust a nut and much more likely to bust out laughing while playing the games, but they're absolutely sex-themed.

It was a good, fun, and enjoyable game. I enjoyed playing it.
I recommend again...
Which one did you play? I've played a few of them. All were quite funny.

I started with the first one on DOS, and it was ridiculous.

I remember sites like Home of the Underdogs, OldWare which later became MyAbandonWare, Abandonia, et cetera. I got big into the Point & Click Adventure Games, and those included the Leisure Suit Larry games, I was probably like 10-12 years old. I was basically restricted from playing CD-Based games, since my Brothers and Dad didn't allow me to touch and potentially ruin them. I did have access to a Computer and Internet, so I had a lot of old DOS games and Roms/Emulators., basically late 90's early 2000's.
