Augustus and Tiur are correct, that is how I had always intended it to be. The translations are 90% things that you can miss. The other 10% are easter eggs and inside jokes mostly.

Go into the folder named "game" and open the script files (script.rpy, update3.rpy, etc.) in the text editor of your choice (I like Notepad++). Find the Russian lines and copy/paste them into google translate.

It's just a little extra convenience for supporters. The game is intended to be played with the MC not knowing what the girls are saying in Russian. You can easily translate it yourself, it's just a little more effort.

Because people asked for it since the beginning, and hiding dialog behind a paywall is shitty

People had asked for it since the beginning and it was obviously done enough to warrent a translation. Paywalling any content is just a shitty thing to do.

Why? Not having the translation is the originally intended experience of the story - the main character doesn't understand those parts, and the earlier versions all had no translation available at all. So it's not like we're given an incomplete game for free to lure us in, and then have to pay to get the real deal. We already get the real deal for free. People who pay get a small extra.

Its still shitty to hide content behind a paywall, its like devs who put scenes behind higher tiers of supporters that are "not cannon". Sure its correct but definitely doesnt make me want to support a dev that would do it.

There was a whole scene that was most of the way through rendering that ended up getting scrapped. It just wasnt working and I ran out of time.

Here is the script and variable docs for the translation if anyone wants them. Decompile the game with unren and just add these to the game folder

This is a shitty message to have to write, but my fanbox page has been nuked. There doesn't seem to be a way to appeal ( if someone knows different let me know)

Most likely due to someone reporting the account. It seems there are some toxic individuals in the community that are under the impression that creators don't deserve to get anything back for their time and effort.

So, I'm going to take this opportunity to step back from the community for a bit as I don't need the extra stress/drama in my life. Thank you to everyone that shared kind words. My discord will remain open (unless that also gets nuked).
