Manwhas have more of the repetitive entertaining trash, but you can’t even come close to the creativity and craziness of mangas. For entertainment manwhas are easier to read, but mangas usually have deeper stories.

I love manhwa because they can portray some beautiful scenes in perfect artful colors

Can someone explain me what Manwha is. I have never heard of it before.
Manwha is a Korean web comic. They are always in color and use a long strip format to make it easier to read on webpages by scrolling. This means the graphics are vertical in nature so you can get long panning action scenes.

Manga is a Japanese comic. They are mostly in black and white and what you find online are scans of the printed comic books that are published by publishing companies. They typically come out in weekly or monthly update cycles and are mostly hand drawn. Because manga are published by companies a run can end if the mangaka is dropped due to popularity or company problems. Because the comic HAS to fit in printed books this limits the size and scale of illustrations except for the rare double page panels.

That's why a lot of manga and manwha are webnovel adaptations these days. No need to have art and story from a single person and instead just adapt a popular work.

The long strip format is not easier to read there is so much dead white space that i'd risk getting carpal tunnel buy reading the amount of content that a manga has on one page. If i where to say your comment is currently in manga format then to convert it it manwha format every time you hit space instead hit enter 3 times

I prefer manga because most manwha have a similar art style and scrolling can be a pain depending on where you are reading

Although I enjoy the Korean aesthetic of manhwa, I think the themes covered in manga are more interesting. Manhwa seems to be written entirely for adolescent boys (action adventure, horror), but in manga, I can find any topic that interests me, no matter the approach (not only shounen but also shoujo, seinen or even josei).

its been a long time since i read a manhwa, but i remember them been very repetitive, all very wuxia like

Err...'scrolling' does not involve hitting the enter key. Typically it's the Mouse Wheel or finger on mobile devices.
The long strip is so you can have a single page and scroll through images.

In any case with Manga you'll get blocks of images in cells that simulate book pages and Manwha will have a string of images without page borders.

In regards to scanlators you'll see more manga scanlation groups than you will manwha. Because the fandom is used to translating japanese rather than korean, However, because manwha are distributed online there is more digital localizations and digital images are easier to come by than purchasing a copy of Shonen Jump and disassembling it to run the pages through a scanner. Its interesting to see Korean Manwha picked up by groups for translation through a Brazilian localization site because the only translator they have is Portuguese to English.

Also interesting fact, there are no spicy Manga.
There are mature manga, but nothing official can be considered explicit adult content.
Any explicit adult manga you fine are doujin which are fan comics and not officially published, though there are some that come close ("Creature Girl: Hands on Field Diary" :) ) they usually stop at extremely suggestive to skirt past censors (To Love Ru, Monster Musume, etc)
On the flip side there are official adult manwha. Since they go straight to the web without having to go through publishing laws there are less restrictions on their content.

Manga, there is much more variety and many of those are masterpieces. From Manhwa there are also some very good ones like Murim Login, The Only Necromancer, etc., but they are the minority.

This was kind of a tough call for me. I like both(Solo Leveling was the first Manhwa that i really liked), but I do lean more towards manga.

as109 indeed is one of the favorite
I also have in my list of the best:
Rinjuu Circus (Haguhagu)
Mieow (Rustle)
Higashiyama Show (Akiri)
Nyuu Koubou (Nyuu)

Both are good but there simply exist way more manga than manhwa, so the former is my choice.
