He actually became a god. Good thing Roddenberry wasn't around he would have been against it. He didn't like Shatner's script for Star Trek V about Kirk searching for Christ and finding the Devil. He hated the script for VI because Kirk was a racist.

True, and honestly probably the weakest part of the show, but I guess they needed some reason that HE was the Emissary in the end. And it explains things earlier in the series like the episode where he starts having flashes of omnipotence.

To me that would be the firing of Terry and death of Jadzia. Don't get me wrong i like Ezri and Nicole but the show was never the same

Sisko is the best captain, hands down. Mostly because he wasn't on a ship, so he had to deal with the consequences of his actions in the next episode.

i'm not a Trekkie, but even i know that Captain Kirk, played by Shatner, is the GOAT.
Though i gotta admit the following song did almost change my mind about Picard. it's a real banger.

I enjoyed Picard from TNG the most to be honest. Original Kirk was just reckless.
