I don't get the logic tho, it's like the incest content in pornhub where they turn everything into "step family". aren't we all adults? why play around with words. I'm all for removing loli content but why play around it? they remove 3D content while leaving the worst of content. the amount of sex stories with kids, it's like Asstr is fully viewed by everyone yet google doesn't touch it, no government touches it (it has nepi stories Jesus Christ, why the fuck is it still up?) I don't get it, there's some sick stuff over there. yet it's still there, meanwhile a softcore loli game is a big no no.

and meanwhile real kids are being harmed by the many systems we have, wtf is even going on in Hollywood? the world is fucked up... seriously

Why doesn't the dev make a SS page? Lots of games with similar content there and they seem to be fine.

There are many more discrepancies like that in the game, which makes me think the author didn't graduate with a good grade in English and "it" doesn't have a proof reader.
I typically see this when a dev is from a Spanish speaking country. I don't know why but they seem to have great difficulty using correct gender pronouns.
Maybe we should start by referring to them as Senorita, and see how quick they are to protest :D (assuming the majority of them are males)

The game is great. The dialogue needs better editing. Grammar and weird formulations like when a young girl like Sophie says "...in fond remembrance". Haha

About SubscribeStar, keep emailing them. Often. Like once a week. Don't be aggressive. Just friendly persistence.
That's my biggest gripe with these kind of games. Non-English (also some native ones that didn't get a passing grade) developers should really take advantage of communities like this to improve the grammar and dialogue. I'm not a native English speaker myself but i can do a pretty good job regardless. I've tried editing a few games (Life with Mary is one example) that I liked, but I didn't get any feedback so I just gave up on it.

Bad English can pretty much break a game. However, this one is pretty far from the worst that I've played. Anyway... Kudos to @lonely wolf for at least completing the game even though he's got other problems. It shows commitment. :)

Can you update this to v0.7 please? Thank you.

I typically see this when a dev is from a Spanish speaking country. I don't know why but they seem to have great difficulty using correct gender pronouns.
This is likely to be common for multiple Romance languages (French and Spanish) as well as some other languages I'm less familiar with. The reason is that the gender of the object matters for pronouns and articles in those languages, where it does not matter in English. The example I've given before is this:
  • "His father" in French is "Son père"
  • "Her father" in French is ALSO "Son père".
  • "His mother" in French is "Sa mère".
  • "Her mother" in French is ALSO "Sa mère".
The object of the phrase (father or mother, above) is what determines the gender of the possessive article, not the subject (like it does in English). It's even more complicated since ALL of their nouns have gender, so "his shovel" and "her shovel" are both the feminine "sa pelle", while "his bicycle" and "her bicycle" are both the masculine "son vélo".

This means MTL from these languages is highly likely to mess up these pronouns/articles, and it makes it harder for native speakers of these languages to get them correct as well. So I'm honestly always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to gendered pronouns, since the way English handles them is not remotely universal.

Is this game really not going to receive more updates, is that it? That's a shame... :(

@cebs Sorry for tagging you but can you please update to 0.7? Thanks

My MC decided to
run away with Sophia. So I guess the last update will be MC sharing a cell with Bubba ?
:D

And why do people still even bother with that silly "everyone in this AVN is 18"? That's obvious bullshit when even Chloe herself said she was 12 (I would have guessed 11).
Because statements of intent offer some protections to the creator.

I guess it depends on where they are. In the US no protections are necessary, as all forms of cartoon/render art are legally protected speech by default, includiing naked kids having sex, even if it's with animals or their grandpa outright beating and raping them or anything else imaginable. I suppose in theory some bored risk-happy prosecutor could try to go after obscenity charges (in an age where the Miller test doesn't really apply anymore, since just about everything can be argued to have artistic merit), but that hasn't even been attempted in 15 years (last one was for some dude's imported manga comic collection, ended in a wrist-slap plea bargain), since no one has wanted to risk having the Supreme Court overturning the relevant law (Protect Act, that also addresses real **) just like the previous law that tried to ban loli cartoons was back in 2003. Chloe herself said she was 12 in the dialog, so that kinda negates that disclaimer anyway.
