He has it set so each version is a standalone paid. It's not a pay and wait kind of thing. Unless you want to wait for the free version, but I can be impatient sometimes lol.

No, it'll be simply as if the bonus scene was never there.

Dammit. I was just going to post that I would much rather see you here than F95. Despite the trollfest going on, you would have more freedom here than what F95 would allow. You wouldn't have to double things up by having GE and SE, and you wouldn't have to change the story you want to tell to fit their standards. You could have one version, and release it however you want.
***edit*** I mean all of this in regard to what you release free to the public.

Wow... what an immature approach to what is essentially, customer feedback.
I realise there are a lot of people on here that are self proclaimed 'freeloaders' but, there are also a lot of people supporting Dev's. Maybe instead of taking all feedback as an attack, talk or reach out to other Dev's who make similar content and are successful and get advice before burning prospective customers - maybe reach out to Westy or ANYONE and get advice because I was willing to pay $20 after seeing how you handled all of this, but now I'd rather burn that $20 then give it to you!
How hard is it to have a tier system LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES... $20 for the first 2 weeks, $10 for the next month, $5 eventually... I hate to break it to you, but the story is rushed, some scenes are decent but need work, if it wasnt for the 'kind of VN' you make, most wouldn't take another look. Ironically, Westy probably makes the vast majority of his money, from the $1 teir lol.

You know Ricoh, you really changed from the guy who started out as a humble modder to a dev. You seem to believe we owe you something. We don't if you want people to sub you need to produce content, you need to earn our support.
These are the people I support, it's actually more as I add and subtract but a lot of us are absolutely not the freeloaders you claim we are because we are more demanding than you can handle.

It doesn't work like that... If and or when someone else takes over the thread it only means that they are the thread owner. Not the game owner. The contents of the game stays the same, and Ric0h is still the developer. The updates will come from a different source ( Sometimes from a roaming BOT like Dean, or a crafty underhanded Pirate

Sooooo... seeing as the dev let the door hit him on the way out... someone having the 0.7 GE version willing to post a link to it so some modder(s) might be able to keep the gallery up to date (if having a gallery is the only difference between the GE and SE version...)?
EDIT: nevermind, April is a character, thought April as in month... so it's not just the gallery but also a bonus scene... well if that's all, a one time bonus scene is nothing to lay awake about... plenty VN's where the dev don't need to walk on egg shells...

Aside from the mountain of excuses the Dev gave for his decision, this isnt the first game that faces this problem, and the reality is most just decide to patch it, delay the public release x amount of time, and nothing has any issues with that
He tried to paywall content, the Rule 7 is nothing more than an excuse, and thankfully the community still doesnt take kindly when Devs try to paywall content
Not a single game that tried that had a good result. And yet we still have oblivious Devs trying
Its sad how pwoplw can repeat mistakes that are proven to be serious mistakes, and still be cocky about making those mistakes...

There's definitely a degree of contempt for the players in all his responses that suggests he thinks people on these sites aren't also his pool of potential supporters. His responses and behavior have certainly ensured I won't be one. There are enough games by decent devs who engage positively with their communities that I don't need this one.
