workt now. So what about the bonus scenes?, which version gets them?
If option 2 wins, then ALL that type of content will be in the SE version. (GE will only contain a gallery).

The vote will end when I'm about to release v0.8, so you'll have a while to vote, hopefully not 7 months this time though.

Ok that sounds good.

However on a side note you have really loaded up the shotgun and have aimed it at your other foot with this vote, because if option 1 wins the backlash would be even more severe that it is now

If option 1 wins, then that is what the people want and they can go moan at themselves.
If option 2 wins, then the only way this thread gets updated (with the new rules) is if someone leaks it directly here. As it won't be posted on F95 to get the link due to the content.

So..
If 1 wins, people will complain.
If 2 wins, people will complain.

You have really opened pandoras box.

Honestly i think that the game will get leaked regardless of what the outcome is

Are you saying that you won't post the SE version here yourself at any point? Perhaps a certain number of days or weeks after release?

No.. I'm saying that I won't leak my own content.
It'll still be posted it once it's released to the public as a free build.

Although, new rules state that devs will no longer "own" their threads, so I would not be able to post it when it becomes free.

So current rules, Yes I will post updates (as I have thread ownership)
New rules, No I will not post updates as I can't (as I will not have thread ownership)

Dosen't new rule state if you wait 15 days, and then if a leaked version is available elsewhere but not yet posted to the OP, they would update the links themselves regardless of the dev, meaning that a dev have control but they can't just let a thread sit idle for long periods of time and only to then update it with an older version after a long period of time has passed?

They get the links for leaked updates from F95, if I add the April content to the SE version, then it will not be posted on F95 due to Rule7 and as such there will be no link for them to get.

New rules REMOVES thread ownership from the game dev, as written here:

So the idea here is to still let devs have their "supporter early release" time, but making it so devs cant take ownership of their thread just to prevent it from being posted here by never updating it.

So if the new rules go a head, then the updates will only be updated here if someone directly leaks the updates here.
(This applies to EVERY game and not just mine)

Aren't there also many other sites with leaked updates?, maybe the best move is simply to add an mod or something similar

I think it is for devs that allow their threads to sit idle by, since their main concern seems to be devs that knowingly withhold their latest version of their game for long peroids of time or have content behind paywalls when a full version already have been leaked and it seems that devs that update their thread frequently with a full version after a certain period of time won't have any with this issue with this. So to me it only seems that certain devs will be affected by this.

I won't be making a patch if that's what you mean, the content will either be in the SE version or not.

Well it needs to be clarified what he intends to do, as atm I see it as LC removing thread ownership from all devs.

Thread owner
Wrong...... Dev will still have ownership of their threads. If they release their game and do not update their threads mods will do it for them within x amount of days of release. They will also be able to update the threads for leaked versions. Now the thread has been derailed long enough on this topic. I posted a link earlier to take people out of this thread to go vote and discuss this topic there..... Ricoh was nice enough to report it as spamming which he has the right to do. So to get this thread back on game topic please take further discussions on this subject to the thread where the voting is.
