It's more of a "this is not official, so if something doesn't work, don't go running to the dev to complain" warning than anything. Sometimes the compression process can potentially cause some unforeseen issues, or some files could possibly get corrupted or any other potential problems, like incompatibility with patches or whatever. Doesn't mean it will break the game, but just that it could, and that it's basically an "at your own risk" download as opposed to the official version.

My guess is it'll be a few months at least, since the way it was worded at the end of this recent update it sounds like we're getting both the heaven and maou-sama endings together in the next update, then after that will be the epilogues, possibly? Definitely wouldn't be too upset if that's the case, even if it ends up being a longer wait between updates. I'm guessing the Maou-Sama ending is gonna be a big one - assuming it doesn't just have a bunch of overlap with the other three endings to save work that is - and have the most content overall considering it's the "all of the above" ending.

Same, the story just kinda meandered off on its own with a few too man characters. Will have to star over maybe like u suggested.

often something unexpected. Neko-Hime has a good knack for variety.

After I'm so far finished with the new project, I still have to write a chapter and finish the gallery, then the new main menu, a few songs and then there's more news.

Interesting! I take it from the description that this one isn't tied into the overarching multiverse with Maou-Sama and DIT, then? It sounds like it's going to stand on it's own. I'm sure people would be happy if that's the case, although I'll be excited either way, since I know I'll enjoy your work regardless. Either way, I can't wait for the end of Maou-Sama when you do get to it, but I look forward to checking out Light & Dark's first release as well.

Does this game have animated scenes? Or is it like D.I.T? I like the story in DIT but when a game lacks anything animated, i often choose to play something else. I dunno, maybe ive just been spoiled with all of the other great games recently
