While I don't often change character names, I'm a sucker for Sarah, Mia, and Allie whenever I do. However I do tend to change MC's name if its ever blank because just seeing 'MC' whenever they talk breaks the immersion for me.

I name the male MC, even though I don't self-insert.
I pretty much always use the default names for the women, though. Like, I think the only time I changed it was in DMD, which was my first modern porn game.
