I'm boring as hell when it comes to naming my girls, I just use my own. Probably why I only play certain female MC games, it's my time to self insert.

On the flip side of that I name all the male characters Bob. Mainly because I heard it once in a Blackadder scene and the scene was amusing.

I named Shortcake Sabrina. As in Melissa Joan Hart Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I named the sister Angel. Sunshine Love.

I honestly don't rename characters (except MC) because I enjoy the novelty of the author's choice of naming

You give me an option to change names.. I'm going with that almost every time. Or, 60 percent of the time.

Always always go for the default names for everyone. Even if the MC ends up being called Man or blank.
